Xpeke didn't play well this game, but Cyanide spent the first 15 minutes sitting in toplane trying to get Soaz going but it failed completely. It essentially took all pressure off of Froggen and botlane, and they couldn't even dive Wickd to get a kill.

If you play without a tank you kind of have to do something in the midgame to justify that. Also Fnatic put a lot of resources into top lane, while Allaince put theirs into mid. Only the latter worked out.
But true xPeke didnt have a good game.

I have yet to see a LB who didn't get kills in the lane phase be impactful, and the fact she was taking the slot typically occupied by the tank role just magnified that, this is not a shot at soaz.

Ori was a bad pick. How is she supposed to win lane? Gragas has innate sustain, Ori doesn't. Gragas has more mobility and can E when she Q's in. With equal skill Gragas has advantage.

No, xpeke lost lane straight up against froggen, cuz he's too arrogant to pick up more poitns in shield against that matchup, and fucking Cyanide didn't do shit at all early game.
The leblanc pick was genius imo.
look at alliance's defensive itemization.
Wicked picked up GA as 3rd item after SV + BotRK, meaning Caitlyn gets ez pz damage on Alliance's front line, and Pantheon JUST picked up randuins. The whole point of Leblanc pick was to force the early Bveil from Lucian (notice how he got bveil before even his triforce? he wasn't doing jack shit for damage), and to force toplaner to build MR instead of Armor.
The LB pick was good, Xpeke and cyanide lost the game for fnatic this game.

no they weren't  you don't pick orianna with 0 aoe followup, you don't pick leblanc if you can't snowball, but it's fine it's the regular season and it's a standard "fnatic loss" most of the time they lose when picking shit and trying weird stuff.

Most likely because at worlds he wasn't too bad which is the only time I've ever seen him be useful. Guess Aatrox made a lot of people seem useful.

Misanalyzation on your part.
Leblanc wasn't behind in gold/min, compared to midlane.
the only reason leblance looks like she needs kills in lane to be impactful, is often in midlane she can't CS compared to the AoE shove/clear of other midlaners, so to make up for lack of CS dying to tower, she has to get kills.
but in top lane against trundle she had free farm, so she wasn't actually losing out in CS.
Also, notice Soaz got so big that it forced Tabbz to get Bveil as 2nd item, instead of triforce, also delayed wick'd from building Armor/Health item until after GA (which was his 3rd item), allowing Rekkles to have far more impact in game.

That's not really fair. Wickd was playing out of his mind this game with some really good pillars/flashes to stop Cyanide's ganks.
Basically, Wickd flashed well and lived. xPeke flashed poorly and died.
