And they certainly deserve more respect than this slander. I have been following LoL from afar because the game is mostly boring to me and I am saddened by the bad decisions and bad luck they had but being a fan is about loyalty to the structure despite the numerous saddening attempt to get a legit LoL line-up. The management of their "original" LoL team left a lot of people perplex too, and the way it didn't lead anywhere (I mean, apart from the roster being B-tier in itself) didn't surprise many people because of how poor said management was. Of course, it's not only Millenium. The content produced by French community sites is on average fairly low (although it's still not Mobafire-level and I'll admit that Millenium did improve, it's still not there), and because of the young age of a large part of the French community, and generally low proficiency in English, that's all they have/are able to access. The lack of competition doesn't really put pressure on sites like Millenium or Eclypsia to improve their content, and it shows, be it in guides, analysis, or casting. It can be good to introduce people to the game (although the slew of direct anglicisms actually plays against that) and generally be casual, and I guess it's the "fault" of the French community for not asking for more/involving themselves more as well, but it's definitely not enough, and I "resent" the people in charge of all this not aiming at providing better/more insightful content. | ||
