In either case there are always improvements to be made by every tournament but they all seem to have the ending ceremonies on that list. yea, every single esports tournament I've ever watched have had pretty lacking ending ceremonies, including TI.

Would make me feel sad for junglers across the world as it meant they had such little impact on the game.

They let the winner celebrate with their team before immediately jumping into interviews. After the interviews they let the team hold their trophy and play the hype music, then they air the montage at the end.

On a side note, I'm really glad this is the last time I have to listen to this fucking song -_-

Korea really wasn't that strong for a while in LoL, and the top chinese/european and TPA were considered better than them. It was only until this year where they got enough players to cherry pick strong talent that got them into this dominant position.

For people complaining about stomps and format... Look at NHL. You play a season of 82 games. Top 8 from each conference get into the playoffs Some people complained that the earlier seasons shouldn't count as much... Well in Hockey, a team can have a great start but a shit end of season, and still secure a playoff spot. Some people complained that the games were a stomp. I won't argue with this. Some are claiming that a loser bracket will prevent this. This is absolutely false (even if it's a good thing to have) One could say that getting into the finals, even in a flawed format, still require alot of work/luck/skill. Take hockey again, a team needs to win like 3x best of 7 to get in the finals. That doesn't prevent stomps from happening. It's not just about skills. It's also about preparations + mental. End of rant... just mad at people who seem to bash Royal or tournament

Royal definitely deserved top 4, but were they really the 2nd best team? Double elimination just sort of ensures that the 2 best teams are competing in the finals. It's not as hype though, but it kind of just gives a higher chance for more quality games.
