AZB gonna enter 2nd match with a really bitter taste in their mouth, and Cpt Jack even more than the rest of his team.
I call GBG 2-0 on this one Sometimes surrendering is better than fighting hard and losing badly. Just wipe it clean and forget about game 1 then go into game 2 normally. Well usually they ( Chinese/Koreans ) fight as long as they can ( Dat match with the 3 inhib down comeback ), it felt more like a frustration surrend from Cpt Jack ( even though this is purely guessing ) than a " let's move on onto the next one " they might prove me wrong tho, even though i'd really like GBG to win ! Only because they are so serious. But have you seen korean soloq games? It's very common for everybody to go AFK at 15 minutes if the game is going very badly. Someone from CLG I think said that Koreans get discouraged to play easily. So ... are you backing me up or what ? XD I don't get the point you're trying to make, of course on the ladder it's trolling, but this isnt ladder at all ! and when you say the ydiscouraged easily, well having to surrend looks more than enough for them to be discouraged and enter game 2 with a moral disadvantage I'm saying that it's not that surprising. As someone already said, Azubu were never going to win that game. Rather than trying their hardest for nothing and then being mentally and physically exhausted for the next games, they decided to completely wipe the slate clean and go into the next game with a refreshed mindset.
Oh okay, i didnt see why you woud talk about the ladder games cause we all know in LoL and in SC2 koreans just troll on the ladder ( less common in sc2 now )

I hope so... they deserve it for this event.
On that note, why did they put it in this giant stadium? They were always known for doing events at convention centers along with other things going on, but this seems to be a standalone. Is there other stuff at this stadium which is why they are there, or did they decide to do a standalone event?

Anyway ezreal is dumb, and they just played strong lanes. Though flame stomping darien surprised me, that was a lane i expected vlad to lose.
Stomp? think ur hate towards M5 seems to be blinding u, couple cs ahead and a tower dive with shen is hardly a stomp

It's bruiser Vlad which seems common in s3. Starts with Warmogs for laning then adds AP items (hextech, Deathcap). Too bad that the laning phase was over at the Warmogs stage... But isn't the ratio AP to HP much more effective than HP to AP? I mean, even if it gets beyond laning phase, I can't imagine him being a threat at all when going Mercs / Tabi / Warmog's / Chain Vest or Negatron... I don't think he was meant to be a threat. They had Ryze and Kog for their big threats. So I think the logic was he does well in lane(Dunno Youngbuck quotes here) and then has damage amplification on his ulti so he can build tanky while helping out the two big threats. Yeah, Korean teams will usually favor extra utility and tankiness instead of having another glass cannon.
The only real utility Vlad has imo is his ult damage amplifier. And maybe his W when he ghosts into 5 people and tries to slow them l0l. If it was for tanky utility, I think there have been better choices.

Not with nunu though.Especially not vs gosu pepper who is famous for both his nunu and sona lol.....

Yeah pretty much what Outlaw wrote. It's a common occurrence in tournament play, whether you're talking about an e-sport like LoL/SC2, or a physical sport such as Tennis. The idea being when you're so far down you have no chance of winning the game/set or whatever, that you conserve your energy/ mental freshness so you're in a better position to win the next game.
It actually makes them more of a threat going into this next game.

In top tier play, a kill and 30 cs up is quite a stomp as far as top lane goes, ESPECIALLY from the viewpoint of a vladimir, which is a character that rarely wins lane ever anymore.

"Bar of Legends" is such a bad name. "Pub Stomp" is so much better.

Picking kog nunu knowing ezreal and lulu/sona are open are essentially handing the bot lane to gambit
