So I saw people mentioning Sona and Lichbane/AD sona/etc in chat. I thought it was worth bringing up that a power chord autoattack doubleprocs Muramana (much like Kha6's passive procs it.)

If I wasn't so bad at sona, I would try early tear sona.

i'm of the opinion that zeke's is a highly underrated item in competitive play, if only because aegis/locket are so good on the champions that would have gotten zeke's as well as team comps that underutilize the zeke's aura.

i propose:

aegis-bulwark on a jungler who benefits from zeke's (nasus/xinzhao suggested)
locket on the support. suggested: nunu / taric / GP for more 'free' stats
zeke's on either mid or top. suggested: jarvan mid/top
jayce or renek for top/mid, depending on matchup
corki suggested for AD, but any AD should be fine (jayce AD would free up another slot)

the team would utilize locket/aegis->bulwark/zeke's efficient stats for an incredibly potent mid-game peak. in addition, the amount of armor reduction offers incredible synergy for all the physical damage dealers.

in addition, this teamcomp is likely to be able to clear baron fast with a few additions:
spirit stone + upgrade on the jungler
spirit of elder lizard on AD, possibly top and mid as well
nunu on support

possible tweaks:
kayle for some form of magic damage split. she brings her own shred on top of her W and ult utility for incredible diving. benefits from zeke's pretty well
jayce as the AD, allowing another pickup for shredding in another lane and adding to the bruiserness of the comp. jayce as AD can also pick up zeke, freeing up a potential black cleaver somewhere else
nasus mid to pick up whatever aura your current comp lacks.

TL;DR

Pool of champs who benefit from Zeke's and also offer armor reduction: Nasus Xinzhao Jarvan Kayle Renekton Jayce Corki
Supports who synergize well with the above: Nunu Taric

Pick 5, allocate Aegis, Locket, Zeke's purchase duty on 3 different champs. Group up with all 3 completed, steamroll

Yeah i often play champs that are good with locket/aegis and so tend to build the one my support isn't building and then ask my supports to build shurelyas or zekes depending on our team comps/needs. Zekes is really strong, and people kind of forgot how powerful shurelyas active can be in many cases.

Maybe add someone like Amumu or Sejuani or Malphite who can consistently force fights and/or towerdive? No good having crazy midgame power if you can't make them fight you.

Since we're in the TROLLS thread and I just tried this... Leona jungle was a good holder of both Spirit of the Elder Lizard and Zeke's. Also offers the dive potential mentioned by rugeater. Maybe, no?

That's an awful lot of AD you're buying on Leona just for a bit of true damage and an aura that you're prioritizing over Aegis/Bulwark/Locket/Reverie.

Jungle leona is such a good carrier of locket + aegis it would be silly not to get them. Spirit of the anicent golem is far better too imo. Can then grab dodge boots instead, or even swifties of cdr depending on enemy team. Zekes is more of a later game damage boost she can buy, although in specific teamcomps if you cam get locket + aegis + zekes in a combination of leona + support + maybe top lane them yeah, zekes works, hue.
Like you pick leona for ungodly levels of cc and actually become somewhat farmed so she can become a tanky monster and not instantly blow up if she dives in like support leona might, not to simply have leona build all this AD and lifesteal.

Since the idea here is "rush auras on everyone", I guess it depends on if your teammates would be better at carrying Zeke's or Aegis. Leona actually can make ok use of AD thanks to her autoattack reset, though I can't speak from experience there, and she'd love the CDR from Zeke's. Still makes more sense to get it on other people unless you're really desperate.

On a related note, what about an AP variant of the pentaura setup where you pick up WotA, Aegis, one or two Maladies and Abyssal and run a comp like Karthus Ryze Teemo Amumu or something?

Monte stream bachelor party pls

I played Leona jungle in a bot game. It was fun, but hardly a measure of viability. I used 0-21-9 masteries with movespeed quints, atkspd, flat armor, scaling MR. I had to back after my first clear (wolves blue wraith wolves red), and I bought spirit stone and a rejuv bead. Ganked, cleared some more, got a philo and boots. Went on to build SotAG, Aegis, Mobo boots, Shurleya's. Thinking maybe I should've put in an earlier IBG for mana/clear, then I guess finish it with a Warmog's or Randuin's.

More or less a normal support build (except jungle item instead of sightstone) on more gold. Using ult for ganks can be pretty sick.
