Thanks to Reddit sleuths, everyone can try the LotV test maps by following instructions here. Note: This is not a beta key, it is simply access to Vs. AI and a Unit Tester. I have no idea how cool with this Blizzard is or is not, use at your own risk. |

Probably won't be as notable as, say, stalkers vs mines. oh, for sure the stalker/mine dynamic is a good fix. just curious about side effects. i'm not complaining, in fact i was thinking it might be a pretty nice boost to the patrol command in general (i might actually rebind it off of P!)

System specs aren't registered anymore at account/beta settings. So I guess they stopped checking that.. I think they use the Battle.net app to check it now, so you don't have to manually download their thing to check your system stats like you did before.

(haha, i actually kinda feel bad about that one)

Well, it wont really change anything to do with pylons being found at high level since the scan range is not going to be larger than the vision range. Also I don't think scan range effects the distance from which units will engage, only the rate at which they engage them. But I could be wrong about the second part.

I have 400 games this season and two GTX970's and I4790k do they want high specs or should I sign up on a 6 year old laptop?

I got into first wave of Heroes alpha with my high end rig. Though they probably try and include a broad spectrum.

Sometimes when you amove commant your units past Probes and you don't notice, your unit might not attack because the Probe is just slightly too far away. I don't know for sure, but this might change that mechanic slightly?

The word on the street is that you want either extremely high end or extremely low end.
You have a fairly new GPU so I think you're in good shape.

You can't just make a random piece of software run in parallel, especially a real time game where fast response time is especially important.

Was there any news on when WCS/Blizzcon attendees will get keys? Last I heard was a tweet that they would be emailed when the time comes.

I have almost 12K games on one account, and hundreds more on other accounts, so hopefully I get in.

Oh really? And do you work as a game developer? That's what I thought. No programmer is going to say "You can't just make a random piece of software run in parallel".

Just some LOTV hype,
Today i was fooling around in my statistics, all of the sudden i could choose from LOTV,HOTS and WOL! It disappeared. reappeared alll the time, but got a bunch of error messages.
I just hope it means im getting Beta :-)

I'm pretty sure people who are going to receive a key the first day of the beta where contacted by someone from ESL and/or Blizzard.
|
Gonna let you in on something everyone, if you want a higher chance of getting a key, change your system specs to a mac or run the spec grabbing tool on a mac. I've gotten keys for HOTS, hearthstone and Heros this way, I'm not an active player. Hopefully its the same for LOTV.

Hm >700 bonus pool in 1v1, seems like I have something to do at the weekend.
