LotV closed beta announced to start on March 31 - Page 43

Thanks to Reddit sleuths, everyone can try the LotV test maps by following instructions here. Note: This is not a beta key, it is simply access to Vs. AI and a Unit Tester. I have no idea how cool with this Blizzard is or is not, use at your own risk.

It would build more excitement, for me anyway. Doubt I'm alone. I'd be really curious to know too.

Get a SSD or an upgraded GPU/CPU - this really isn't a reasonable request to make of any company. Sorry but it's true! :-(

Get a SSD or an upgraded GPU/CPU - this really isn't a reasonable request to make of any company. Sorry but it's true! :-( I have i7-5820K (6 cores CPU, overclocked to 4.0 GHz) and NVIDIA GTX 980 (latest). I run sc2 fine but when armies in 4vs4 become huge, imagine what fps is. Not more than 50-60 in the best case. So sc2 is definitely not optimised well. Let's ask for optimisation and stop defending Blizzard. Edit: If anyone has missed the point, sc2 only supports 2 cores CPUs. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, for example, goes as far as to recommend a quad core processor. If we're given a new expansion and is on sale, we should ask for multi cores optimisation. Who keeps buying 2 cores CPUs anyway? Ok, maybe laptops. Edit2: And if LotV has more PC requirements just like from WoL to HotS transition, then it makes even more sense to optimise game.

Good luck with the draw! I've never been lucky with Blizz RTS expansion betas. Didn't get it for TFT and didn't get it for HotS. Hopefully third time is the charm.

That's a major nerf, from 23 damage at 3 atk vs 3 armor to 20. It gets worse for units with base armor, from 22 to 18. In the case of CP Ultralisk, from 20 to 14. That is a major nerf.

I don't even remember getting an email for Heroes but I was in the first wave of alpha invites.

Slightly more effective, I think. Probably won't be as notable as, say, stalkers vs mines.
