I also really like banner of command, but it isn't good by any means. If you want to do one of those support-into-AP-carry things with like Annie or Zyra then maybe? The minion aura is actually super weak for pets though.

Re. The azir posts on the last page. I agree he could use some tweaks/qol changes, but even now he has potential. I did 2 things that dramatically increased my success with him. 10 flat 10 scaling cdr from runes and masteries and morello or athenes rush into zhonyas sorc boots and void staff. Attack speed reds also help with the early game clunkiness. This build does ridiculous damage.
Just from my own experience it took 30 or 40 games before i could carry with azir. He is not easy to pick up and be good with.

Azir has something like 8 bugs being fixed on PBE atm. He's not going to really be a relevant thing till the next patch.

Azir ult range is soooo small. I keep expecting the epic pushout of soldiers, instead they just sort of walk out like 500 range..... Missed so many times.
Also sort of wish his own autos got similar modification to his soldiers, sort of annoying when you plant 2 soldiers in front, and some guy walks behind you, and your soldier's not in range any more to attack, so Azir starts attacking himself, except you're doing no damage, so then you send out your soldier with Q, except that takes like half a second of cast time/animation time before your soldiers can start attacking, and then your dead, because you have no range and are squishy as shit.

Yeah i was thinking about it a bit more after i posted that and wanted to add, in his current state being good with him is not worth the time investment. When the patch hits i will be ready though.
The main problem, besides the bugs, that i have with azir is his damage is very high but unreliable. I find it really hard to get a kill on my own. Its easy to poke someone out of lane but they have to fuck up badly to die 1v1. I think he will be strong in organized play with team comps designed around his weaknesses, but in solo que it can be hit or miss. That weakness in lane and skirmishes is not the case in team fights tho, he absolutely will destroy the other team if you have peel and cc.
Azir and lucian were designed by the same guy and i kind of feel the same about them when they both first came out. They play differently then any other champ that fills the same role. they were both riddled with bugs when they first came out but when everything clicks and you get a glimpse of what they can do, it makes me want to keep playing them.

So what are people getting as their offensive item on gnar? I've been trying gnar out and he's hella fun and his teamfighting is awesome, currently I go brutalizer into tank with upgrading into youmuus at some point but I've heard about triforce or even blade for him. Any thoughts?
