How do you fight Akali as someone like Jayce? They picked a Kayle and an Akali so I had no idea who was mid and who was top. Akali just outtraded me once she reached 6 and all that poke 1-5 meant zippity shit.
At first I thought blue trinket would let me fight her in her shroud but it didn't reveal at all. D:
Just tower hug? I went 0-1 cuz I wanted to fight her early on but it didn't work.

Braum for sure, ziggs and kayle are also very good for "overachieving " in mid, top is harder because of soloq counters, but jax is close. The reason I say brand, is because his ults crappy rng can make you lose fights and games your should have won.

Jungle is fine, he farms jungle super hard. R->W->E->Q in terms of leveling up skill

For me, I suspect I'll be going Morello instead of Grail in almost every case. I might try some tear based builds (e.g. Syndra loves CDR so that's a con, but she can stack a tear pretty quickly).

Well I guess Ketara's concern is lack of MR against lanes like syndra, and leblanc. I think it should be okay if you pick up heal as summoner. Or grab 2 pts into W before level 6.

Ah true. Even then, I don't think the MR makes much difference to Lux, given you have shield and you will almost always be taking a defensive summoner (Heal or exhaust). I'm guessing you won't need the MR much for late game either, you want the mana regen/CDR to spam from distance.
Of course I'm not a Lux player, but I've played against her a bunch of times.

40 mr is a ton with just 1 rank in shield. It's a pretty big drop in the upcoming patch, especially since some cdr blue runes are not uncommon in certain lux builds.

So I tried out jungle Karthus in a few normals yesterday. Watched a Nightblue vod and Azingy was streaming.
They use the same build. Spectral Wraith - Boots 1 - Tear. So far so good. Now comes where I have problems in understanding:
Azingy repeatedly said that he hates getting sorc boots before Archangels. Also, Azingy wants to have Archangels in general REALLY bad. In one game he had tear and a blasting wand, and 1.9k gold. He complained that he could buy Rylais, but really really really wants Archangels. Every time he bought Archangels tear had like 300 stacks.
It was my understanding that it is suboptimal to upgrade tear before it is close to full. I also believe that Rylai does a lot for Karthus, mostly making Qs super easy to land and not dying in half a second.
Soooo, what's the optimal play here regarding Sorc boots and Tear upgrade?
