That being said, we believe there are many low risk changes we can actualize to make her a more attractive champion in the live game. I don't think there's much critical thinking involved. They just nerf whatever pros use most. Nerf adc and what is used to counter ADC at the same time and expect the meta to change. Then they add a shield on BT to try to counter Rengar. Cool. Low Elo Tristana is like unstoppable as long as you don't go balls to the walls jump initiate every teamfight. | ||

At my level of play the easiest and safest way to get pressure on a lane. When I play an AP support like Zyra or Karma, I always build it. It slowpushes a lane and I get gold, win win! | ||

Now that the accent is back on safety (LB is a bitch to gank, even if she commits, Ziggs and Lulu need to be dived, Nidalee doesn't assist ganks well, etc. basically she'd need a match-up like LB vs Nidalee to act the same way as before, and that one's already one-sided enough). Her utility is limited, and conflicts with her mobility (really bad for her when behind, compared to Lee, Elise or Kha), her burst falls off if she doesn't stay ahead, so the current meta with super-powered anti-burst Exhaust, defensive peeling like Morgana or Thresh, and generally low burst damage (pick potential is like cocoon -> guaranteed Javelin Toss) means she's pretty easily neutered... and she's bad from behind. In a vacuum she's not that bad. It's just the game currently discourages the picks she works well with, and promotes stuff she's outright bad against. Marksmen that we feel need some special lovin’: No Graves. What. They're going to nerf BT, "compensating" with a component not going to help him (525 aa range, when's he supposed to be topped in health?), and talking about how burst/AD ratios-oriented marksmen are weak late game and how others are too strong early, but it doesn't occur to them at all that the only thing unique about him now is Smokescreen? Every other aspect, even his intended niche (his design niche) are taken over, and not by one champion, but multiple ones. The brawler aspect supposed to stem from his base stats and passive isn't even there either because the safety provided provided by range+mobility (compare the backswing from his dash with Lucian's for example, latter's much smoother) and the better damage from others more than makes up for whatever number of aa his tankiness "buys" him when dived. And it turns out removing some mana cost on Tristana doesn't help her that much. Well no shit Sherlock, maybe they'll think about other changes than systmatically lowering mana costs then? Crucible totally invalidates Ashe and Varus and no other reason at all so let's nerf that shit because it's everywhere. Well yeah, you create a darn Cleanse as an active, of course it's going to be popular! Even if Leona and Thresh would rather buy something else in terms of stats it's normal that they want the active; tilting it more toward the mana/mp5 aspect is also useless since chalice already takes that role (and Sona/Alistar/Lulu/etc. already looked at it, they just went "meh" because it basically was a slot for solving mana issues). Ashe's ult cd is 100/90/80, Varus' is 120/105/90, Crucible's cd is 180s. Yup. They're totes 100% countered by the item, not worth picking anymore, etc. Not sold on the dblade change either because it was used so often off-lane as a result of dshield being nerfed to shit. Even if you wanted survivability you'd be better off buying dblade and constantly auto-ing the minions, plus the additional damage and sustain was a better deterrent for aggression and in the end "protected" you better against early aggressors. Nerf that, don't touch dshield, and your damn "Renekton bar" will effectively weight more heavily. Losing the on-hit for lifesteal is also a nerf to anyone not running AD runes (Irelia for example). | ||
