Alright, we're going to call it a day with all the Thorin drama, guys. I figured if it was about SI, onGamers, TSM, etc, it had some relevance to League but somehow you guys managed to devolve the discussion into an issue about race of all things.
Enough is enough. Let's move along now.

ODEE has to pay 1k because he was a dick in streamchat of Summoners Insight.
Let's hope Dignitas' Starcraft players never leave a game without saying GG, they might end up banning Dig from the LCS ~~
Who the fuck does Riot think they are, the USA aka World Police?
Next thing you know they give Scip chat restrictions because he posted the stream link of him making fun of VayneAuthority.

Your point being? He is the "CEO/Boss/Owner/Whatever" of Dignitas. He is not the teams manager. He is their boss alright, and Riot is fining him because he said he will restrict press access to the team because Thorin and friends were shit talking his organization. He just used very.... flowery language to get that point across.

Isn't this the sort of hyperbolic post that we were supposed to be cracking down on?
I don't get it.

Lest I remind you that NBA forcing Sterling to sell his team.

The quoted rule strictly states "member of the team". If Riot is going to interpret "member of the team" in such a wide open fashion, teams would - going off on this interpretation - be allowed to have people like their graphic designers, newsposters, players from other games and so on play in the LCS. Curse could rotate weekly between Lolpro, Curse and Curse Academy.
My point is not the fine, my point is that Riots own ruleset doesn't support it. That they make shit up as they go and that this can create a deep mistrust between all involved parties in the LCS, CS and general business. Riot apparently doesn't give a fuck about their own signed contracts and feels like they can do monetary harm as they like. Purely for hurt personal feelings of those in power.
Also, you guys can't just argue for hundreds of pages that league is not and should not be compared to traditional sports and then just pull the sports card every time it seems convenient because there is something that on the surface looks related.

"Fuck off ________ you cunt who the fuck are you"
Appropriate behavior to be setting for the public as the owner/manager/whatever of Team Dignitas. He's racist and offensive. What do you expect Riot to do? Riot fines players for being toxic in game if they're part of the LCS. Riot doesn't pay the players, they pay the organization. At the end of the day, Odee's the one cutting Imaqtpie's check. Just because you're an owner, you're entitled to be beyond the rules?

As far as I understand the rule against hyperbole is applied mostly to discussions about in-game stuff (omg yasuo is SOO broken because his E makes it impossible to lane against him !!!) etc.

My point being that... he's the manager of the team? He's listed as the only manager on Gamepedia. For their DotA team, somebody else is listed as manager above him. So if he isn't, then who is?

One thing I hate about that post is how they list out 1st buy options, almost insinuateing 3blade IE, 1bladeBT, and 1bladeBork as being competitive options. One of those costs SIGNIFICANTLY more gold than the others.

Normalize is probably my least favorite word to hear from Riot

That's a huge nerf to early dorans and to BT. 70-100 damage -> 80.
