Usually if you're ahead (and your lanes aren't behind) you can easily group up and either force dragons, or the rest of the outer turrets ring. After that it's mostly controlling objectives (buffs, dragon, baron) and warding their side of the map so you can catch them in the jungle and/or during rotations. So I still ward even as mid? Yes. Always ward, because if you can see shit and the opponent can't, you win most of the time. best ward spots are the river bushes(ones in the middle of the river, usually pink if possible), and green ward their wraith area. The pink in a spotbush has become so common that people are often checking it as low as high bronze/low silver. Currently sneaky spot is right at the end of the banana bush.

Why doesn't LoL have tower stats?
Like wtf, seems pretty obvious to me that damage dealt to towers should be a great stat.

Damage shielded would be a great stat.

I can't play during College because its too much of a distraction, even though I only played a game or two a day in the summer for the most part. I'd rather focus on other kinds of fun, plus possible pledgeship, and other thin?s like, for instance, academics lol. So is there any way of becoming less rusty over time so I can still keep improving from the spot I left off on? you should know that all things, including league and academics, require time and effort. so I'm guessing you won't play more than 5 games a week- that's not really enough to improve a full tier but should be enough to stay relatively the same. For me playing only 1 or 2 games a week was enough to stay in plat. Seeing how going up a tier seems kinda low on your priority list, it's only expected that you probably won't improve in it. @torte push your lane and then help your jungler. roam together and take control of the enemy jungle through deep wards and invading with your jungler. perhaps go for a 3v1 dive top, force drag, etc. Vision helps you to keep track of the enemy jungler so you can force objectives and make plays. You remove the enemy jungler from the equation by doing this, and the enemy mid by pushing your lane and forcing him to farm. What do I do if I'm losing mid? Like this game I just lost mid hard as I was ganked twice by Rengar and he just beat me overall (Malzahar). Do I stay in the lane and eventually take his tower or try my hand at something else? When you are losing, you will often find yourself unable to control your lane... simply because he can kill you more easily and/or outshove you. Depending on the match up, you will often find yourself being constantly shoved to your own tower. The best thing to do in this situation is to keep your lane warded. Just put a ward in the middle of the lane. This will allow you to keep track of the opposing mid laner while you are at your own tower. It's not the ideal situation, but if you can't 1v1 him you should just provide warnings to your teammates as much as possible and hopefully they can deal with him. You can also try to follow him. It depends on who you are playing as and who you are against, plus how your team looks like. But if you are behind, do so carefully because it might make things worse for you.
It sounds like I should still stay in lane though.
I just played a game where there was literally nothing I can do to keep Yasuo out as he completely crushed me. It was brutal and staying in the lane just fed him more, eventually I tried to help top and such it was way too late.

What does the trinket upgrade do, its the only thing I can't differentiate. Do I buy that or individual wards?
. So quick explanation on trinkets. Yellow : 1 minute ward, 3 minute CD. At level 9 its a 2 minute ward. If you pay 475 gold (only available after level 9) you get a 3 minute ward or a pink ward both on a three minute CD depending on the upgrade. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Trinket_item 3 minute green ward, 90 sec cd or unlimited time pink (until destroyed) 180 sec cd green limit: 3 at a time, pink limit: 1

Yeah, basically most religions can be narrowed down to "Don't be an asshole". The rest is more or less facade. And generally speaking not being an asshole is a pretty good ethical principle, not matter if you are religious or not. Sadly some people focus too much on small details so they forget about the main point.

Yes? Look at the "healing done" stat of someone with no life steal/healing and only shields It will be significantly positive.

Look at this TF game I played:

I did 700 healing. My TF had no life steal or spell vamp.

I am almost 100% certain the healing swirl from jungle monsters also count.
The point is, I am not too convinced that shield counts unless someone go into a game, shield a bunch of times, finish up the game, then look at the "Healing Done" field.

I think you're right, don't think it's counted actively.

Okay, lets look at my most recent Lux game.
http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1516719762/43410355
In this 43 minute game, with level 18, barrier, and a 500 strength teamwide AoE shield spell, I "healed" for 1,100.
It doesn't count shields.
It does count potions, which is where that 1100 comes from.
|
|
|
Sure it does.
It's a 32 minute game.
One rank 1 no AP Janna ult can potentially heal for 1500.
It's very easy to think that over the course of a 32 minute game between HP regen on your Talisman, potions, and ult that you healed for 7.8k.
