He's got a lot of things going for him imo. I remember playing with one. He just stood behind me throwing sapplings (most of which hit minions) while the enemy had a real support that zoned me from farm. I'm not a fan. Was this recently? What was the enemy support? I'm considering opening with Spellthief's Edge and poke/push to level 2 like you would Morgana. Like with any Support, there are certain Support matchups you'd want to avoid. Right off the bat, I think of Sona with better poke and sustain in lane, there's very little you can do if 1-2 of you get caught by Crescendo in lane. Any other glaringly weak matchups? Leona? Thresh? I think it was two months ago so only vague memories. I was against Leona maybe (Mao supported me)? I mean, his sapplings are very hard to hit in lane (it's easy to run behind minions before they activate), he's scared to all-in before level 6 and at level 6 Leona and Thresh have better engage. Maybe not Warwick support, but hardly viable (at least from my experience).

What exactly are the things that Support Maokai has going for him? I don't see any reason for picking him.

Also, I am very surprised at this suggestion to get a giants belt before wardens mail when building Randuins. I feel like it's a situational thing, and in many situations the wardens mail will be a better first buy.
What kind of situations and on what champions with what runes and masteries are we talking about I wonder. I haven't seen anyone other than ryan choi play a good rengar. Played against Ryan Choi on his smurf in solo queue. He literally carried the game 1v5. Like he would just kill all 5 of us while his team was in base still.

I dont have a TL shirt just an old razer hoodie, probably get that signed tbh, never wear it anyway. Or maybe my TL mousemat.
Just confirmed with my wife that i'm going, only problem is i start work at a new job pretty soon but taking a half-day shouldn't be a problem.
My work is IN wembley so i can probably leave at like 3 and just head straight to the venue (mwahahahahaha)
If anyone else is planning on heading over send me a PM, we can meet up :-) Not sure if im going to have anyone there at this point, wife is uncertain and havent spoken to my league playing friends.
One things for certain, this is going to be shweeeeeeeeet.

I think he is still very good. He is my alternative to mummy when mummy is not available and I don't feel like playing the pig.

After this discussion, I started playing jungle Ezreal, and man, this is the most fun I've had playing League in a long, long time.

Ok, now I'm certain. The current state of Rengar completely ignores any sort of skill differential between him and the opposing team. My Silver 5 friend who is legit Silver 5 just stomped a game full of Platinums with him. That should just simply not happen.

I lost yesterday Garen vs Garen in toplane without jungle interventions against a Silver 3. So it happens xD

The ability to instagib someone combined with the ability to see any possible follow up is really strong.
It's the definition of SoloQ stomping, and regardless its killer strong to just be able to have vision.
Rengar is an awesome champion.

Rengar has always been a champ with horrible design choices for this game. The main problem is that the counterplay is insanely hard to do while he just rightclicks and then facerolls.

My bronze friend out laned and beat a diamond 1 in lane shit happens. this isnt broodwar where a A will beat a D 99/100 games ya know.

Yes but I assume after that he got caught ten times as much as the diamond guy. It wasn't just laning phase, it was the whole game.

Then rest of Game wasn't plat, was ((his mmr + your mmr)/2) + a few divisions.

A bronze LeBlanc definitely has a shot at a Diamond Kat. It depends on the match up too.

Perhaps a bit off topic, but I have always been more of a fan of not homogenizing balancing. I mean let rengar one shot people, let kha zix be a demon when you are isolated, let thresh has all his bullshit, let leblanc be able to go in and out in and out till the end of the world, let nidalee spears 2 shot carries, let..just let em be strong. Give smth strong to all or most of the champs and let people learn how to use their strengths against the others. Let em have team compositions that have 30% chance of winning just because you did not pick good enough and you had no idea what you are picking. This kind of game is much more appealing for me.
