Expession is still dying in the hospital I thought?
Listening to Monto shit all over Trace's Aatrox pick in Champions last season was amazing, especially once Trace started carrying with it.

Yea, as people have said, Monte doesn't know shit and is really bad at accepting non-meta picks even when they are perfectly valid.

i don't want to try to speak from authority here but as a pretty big ex-nba fan, i remember that the d-league (essentially what the challenger scene is, for the NBA) barely pays its players enough to support themselves as well? they get like, less than a couple hundred dollars per game and a food stipend? and that's in an extremely established sport
i think it's unreasonable, at least in this time of development for league and esports, to expect organizations to fully support b-teams with housing + salary etc. especially when players are so fickle about sticking around for a long time without qualifying (see: every player that retires as soon as they don't make the LCS or get dropped from the LCS).
i know that doesn't really solve the problem of fostering more talent, but i just wanted to point out the parallel to an established physical sport

fortunately for established physical sports there exists another way

Yes, but I don’t think the difference is huge when it comes to laning. Again, JUST LANING. The argument that this KR top laner is just going to come and destroy every single lane opponent is grossly exaggerated, especially in this anti snowball meta. Uhh, Bjergsen came to NA and destroyed pretty much everyone. Why can't this Korean import do the same?
I don't recall burgerking destroying Hai/Link. Enlighten me.

Like 100 athletes are hurt to benefit the other 50 thousand. I don't see why the internet hates it so much, its basically that hip new French tax guy's ideas implemented.
Edit: hip not hop, thanks Droid.

Don't they get a full ride though? I'm not American, so I only know from the clichees that a college education easily costs a few hundred thousand dollars...

Balls' Rumble was the reason C9 took a game off Fnatic. Dem Equalizers.

How i restore LoL passion?

Don't bother. It'll come back; if you force it it won't really do anything but burn you out faster.

Don't play it. Simple as that, just don't play until you actually get the urge to play again. Play other games, Dota, FPS, strategy games, whatever, just don't force yourself to play League until you actually want to, forcing yourself to play something is never good, you end up just tanking your rating or hating the game and stopping for an even longer time.

The quality of education most of them receive is so low that they might as well not have degrees at all (though there are exceptions, foremost being Andrew Luck). Honestly, them having a crap education is almost more of a reflection on how lousy American higher ed is a whole rather than the student athlete system though.
