is there any reason to pick any other ap assassin over lb?

katarina has her niche for sure, if we are talking LCS though then pretty much no, since once you shunpo in you're a sitting duck while leblancs does damage and then just acts as an escape too which is just dumb in lane

Akali and Katarina both get picked in LCS, although Leblanc is obviously more popular.

I think ahri is much better when super behind.

Xes at this point I am pretty sure you're just throwing words together to hope it means something. Of course a chess move doesn't have skedasticity; it doesn't have variance* how could it have conditional variance? (Technically it is homoskedastic as all the variances are zero but whatever). Poker absolutely does have second order expectation errors (unless your opponents are perfect and you know this)!
The only way in which "models are meaningless" in league is if the current LCS teams are there only by luck and not by play. If their strategies have no effect on whether or not they win or lose. Such an assertion is ridiculous. You are literally suggesting that picking garen middle and running at the enemy turret is as legitimate a decision as ziggs. If it is not then we have at the least a rudimentary model which says "don't do that stupid shit". And we have pretty decent models, when to pick x champion, what to buy, how to teamfight, when to press advantages, when to be passive etc. we even have these developed to general lane and champion attributes so that you don't have to memorize every stat and ability. We have an entire forum here dedicated to one aspect of these models which you seem to think are useless.
*well you could definitely define a variance for a chess move off of the ideal and since many people play chess while knowing the ideal in a rough sense but do not always make the ideal move a players variance would be a useful statistic to calculate if you wanted to know how well they were playing but this would not be a variance like we typically think of attributed to a random variable.

He stopped playing jungle when he got put into Gold after placement matches because "he doesn't want to carry people who don't deserve it".

I think Saint said he needed time off, because of the duration of his career, to readjust this preconceptions about the game...or something.

Wtf it's been 3 hours and the server still thinks I'm a game.
Now I'm in. So apparently that loss prevented still gave me enough exp to get to level 30. So now my smurf's ready to go, after a 13-4 journey with Garen, who I hadn't played more than 3 times before that (and prob only during coops or Dominion). A good half of that was jungling.

When does Velkoz drop in price?

I had the client open in the background, wanted to play one more game and I see I got disconnected and am now in queue for god knows how long. Good big lag earlier also in a game, Riot really has a problem with EUW somewhere.

I want to look into the mind of people that flame and get all competitive in ARAM.
Its like not only are they playing a non-ranked game designed for fun, its completely and utterly randomized for the sake of random hokey fun.
lol.
I just got flamed for going AP Ezreal on ARAM. Like, lol... wut.

Plat III Xin flamed his level 20 Rammus all game long in one of my games today (but he raged at our Cait, Lee and me for playing on smurfs... I gave him fb (and he lived off minion aggro with 20 HP) when I tried to fight him at level 2, talk about a scary smurf Xin's range+auto > Garen's range+auto).
