Morgana is an amazing support. Paired with any AD who lacks a true escape and has strong damage (Cait, Draven, Ashe even possibly) she can be the support Soraka could never be-- press one or two buttons, let her AD farm and win lane. Draven Morgana is the stupidest lane ever and me and my duo played it from Gold 1 to Diamond last season because there's no way you can fight Draven without CC'ing him. People tried, people lost elo.
I feel Cassiopeia is not worth playing. I can see her being strong against the meta right now, but she is so unforgiving to play it's borderline retarded - one wrong move and your damage is done. There are so many safer choices in the game you can take and do equally well.
Also I think Riot should really fix her E so it resets when the target dies on route.

Any alternatives to Hybrid pen Runes? Or rather would getting the armor pen/magic pen numbers close using normal magic/armor pen runes pending on what you favor more for the page/champ be worthwhile or am I just crazy/bad?

With these new duo changes......does it mean if challenger plays with a bronze theres a chance the bronze will be higher pick? I duoed with someone much lower than me and they were 2nd pick while I was 3rd...so confused now

I am completely broke on IP at the moment. Obviously Hybrid Pen is ideal but I've been busy picking up champs needed for current play like Elise,Olaf,Leona. I didn't play much of s3 seriously so I've got kinda a big roster to catch up on. I'am looking more for a temp solution.

I don't think there's any point in mixing arpen and mpen runes. Those stats get better the more you have of them, so if switching one rune from arpen to mpen is worth it then switching them all is, and vice versa, except in the rare case that you penetrate all of your enemy's armor/mr.

Yes it is completely random now.Mmr doesn't matter.The cancer of duo strikes again.
This is the first time I am happy a feature is delayed for eu.Looks like having terrible servers isn't that bad.

Hybrid pen has very specific use on mages who tend to have more autocentric laning phases. Stuff like ziggs, orianna, kayle, annie to name a few. You sacrifice a ~1% lategame damage for like 5% more damage early game.
I've seen a lot of pro-mid laners run 3-5 hybrid pen, and the rest mpen, just to take the slight advantage.

I didn't say hybrid pen isn't worthwhile.
I did say that mixing runes of different pen types isn't. That ought to extend to mixing hybrid and mpen runes, actually. What's the reasoning behind not going 9 hybrid pen?

Morg's ult is gamechanging and I'm really sad their proposed "buff" to her w made her completely unviable mid because you no longer have the damage to 100-0 someone at level 6

Well, as i said in my posts ww support is awesome and fun and cool and valid but for various reasons he's not ideal in any way shape or form, he's never WORTH PICKING if you are 100% trying to raise elo and get challanger.
Same for morgana, she has nice tools i guess, she's not awful, but pick her over trash/lulu/leona/annie/karma?...why would you put yourself at that position.

Dumpsters melee supports. She's a counter pick. Never pick Morgana against Lulu/Sona/Zyra etc. I think Morgana can work against Nami because her poke is so mana intensive but I've actually never played the match up in my 50+ games as Morgana and 80+ games as Nami

Yes she's good vs melee support, but again the same can be said about most supports..they all have thier benefit, but the current fotms just have the best tools, morg cant provide all the goodies they bring.
