For example, we look at game 2 of CJ Entus vs Jin Air and we saw Aatrox come out as a counterpick against Shyvana from trAce (which CJ laneswapped to remove the advantage of the counterpick) and he managed to farm okay under tower, and he picked up a fast hydra to just permanently sustain/trade farm with Shy. At a midgame dragon fight with all members present Aatrox was a significantly stronger threat to the opposing team's backline. He was pretty much single-handedly zoning out the enemies carries with a hydra/visage/wardens mail/tabi build due to his insane regen/stickiness.
He's probably not a top tier soloQ pick but I think that he has competitive potential as a niche counterpick. MonteCristo said that trAce likes picking Aatrox a lot to counter other top lane tanks, which comes as weird to me because I don't think he should really do well vs other popular picks except vs Shyvana (Renekton manhandles Aatrox, unsure of Mundo), because they have a very similar role/playstyle of a backline disruptor/tank but Shyvana is not even close to as threatening as Aatrox until very late in the game, while I think that ultimately Aatrox scales better due to his passive + the ability to land multiple knockups in a teamfight.
He's a very interesting pick in the toplane right now IMO and I'll be very interested to see if any other teams will be picking him. Like Bt or Bork on him more than hydra, he doesnt really need the waveclear with E/Q tbh.
I have personally always played botrk on aatrox top but i feel like being able to clear the wave and save your EQ for trading with the enemy is better. Also it was kinda hard to extend the trades against certain champs to make the most out of the botrk. In all-ins tho botrk is definitely a lot stronger and ravenous makes him kinda more "burst" oriented which is better if you are playing as an initiator i think. If you are just going to dive for the adc regardless botrk is probably better.

BTW what do you want to skill max on Aatrox first? For both top and jungle. For jungle W, for top lane E ? Or W for both ?
Also machete, pots or just Dorans, pot ?

It would have been way better on the old TT, the original and most awesome Hexakill (when people had hacked it). Barring that it should have been on new TT, because sticking 6 people on a tiny map was proven awesome on old TT.
But they stuck it on SR where it will be far more boring. It still has fun potential but not nearly enough. These modes are supposed to be new, not slightly different strawberry flavored candy, IMO

Is this girl league on OGN where I can watch lol and fap at the same time?

Who do you play against Mundo top these days?
It seems pretty impossible to stop him from farming ever.

Trundle with BotRK first I believe. But I still don't know if that stops him farming.

Why wouldn't you just play like Shyvanna or Renekton? Maybe Shyvanna is better because BotRK is more common on her than croc.

I seriously doubt Trundle can actually dent Mundo before he runs out of mana. Trundle counters Mundo in teamfight though.

I've been playing Renekton vs him but it seems like he just gets under tower and can get every CS easily. Croc has issues preventing people from farming under tower because he takes tower hits when he tries to trade. Usually you can outtrade the one tower hit if you plan it right but it's not really ideal and he gets the CS anyway.
It's really a boring lane and fairly dumb. I guess I should just play Nasus or Shyvana and AFK farm too.

mundo can farm well even 1v2 because of his cleaver just pick garen and outscale him
|
I usually manage to push Mundo out from lane with Rengar maxing E 1st. However, he still farms decently with the cleaver and then under the turret, he cannot fall too much behind, even though you beat the shit out of him if he get close to you and then after six when he also comes with armor he is full time back into the game. What I am trying to say that if you cannot stop his development with a character who completely shits on him, perhaps you can;t do much against him overall )

Let's be real here. Top lane has been a boring and fairly dumb lane for a while now. :/

Nasus can free-farm vs him. Renekton can kill him depending on how good you are/how bad the Mundo is.
