He has one of the lowest win rates in the game.

Is this nightblue guy a new streamer? He seems like a pretty beastly jungler. New Xj9? ^^

I don't like comparing new, potentially likeable junglers streamers people to XJ9.

A champion doesn't need to have a solid winrate in soloqueue to be bah-roken.

I didn't care about all his personal shenanigans I just cared about how he was stomping every game in challenger with his Hecarim, Vi and Zed.

I play this game in waves, and every time I return I end up maining support for one reason or other. That's ok tho, since I really enjoy the role, and healing my allies to victory, sometimes against their own wishes. I had ~65% winrate in ranked with supports. Then they nerfed Soraka to hell. So my win ratio dropped by about 5%. But at the same time, I actually started climbing the ladder.
Granted, there are other champions that can heal. I probably got up higher in ratings because I diversified my champion pool. You don't have to be strictly in the bot lane (I had a brief stint playing full AP Taric top, oh god was that amazing) but it signified the start of a long string of changes to combat supports being anti-fun. Some changes were good, some were bad. But I won't be recounting every change made. I'll just take a look at where things are now from my perspective.
1) Support itemisation is utterly horrifying. You have a hodge-podge of smaller items to build for yourself whereas the rest of your team runs around with stuff that potentially makes them one-shot people. 2) Support skillsets are bad. Their AP ratios have been slashed to hell and combined with 1) it's hard to feel relevant in a teamfight unless you're Blitzcrank. Or Leona. 3) Max ward limit. What the fuck. 4) Trinkets and vision wards changes. Basically, you have to rely on your team that much more to win vision wars.
I just find it hard to feel like I'm contributing to the team when playing support nowadays. Some games I get the impression that I might get up and walk away for all the good that it would do wrt how the game plays out. It's just so unengaging. It's boring. It's bad. It's just... fuck it, I don't know. I want to play, but every time I log on I just end up closing the client in disgust.
It's a pity.

^ just play annie support and be relevant be bursting the enemy carry

Maybe this is just me, but what stops people from just smashing Yasuo's face in?

his shield is really just the most obnoxious shit ive ever seen tbh. it's like a riven shield he doesnt have to cast to get he just has to walk around the entire game. quite stupid.
especially when his w is making his movement increase it by like 20% or something stupid

Yasuo has a broken kit, regardless of whether or not his winrate is high. Max level, he has a 6 second line/pbaoe knockup, 650 health shield which if he built tanky, should come up twice in a given fight, and can do insane damage off very few items. Probably the only champ in the game that I think atmas is a good buy on, and coupled with shiv procs which can go off every few seconds between his E and Q, it's pretty insane to think that he won't be FPFB in competitive when he comes out. If you can get kassadin out of laning phase like 90% of the time, I'm pretty sure you can get yasuo out of lane phase with at least as much farm.

Maybe this will make people realize that win-rate means jack-shit when comparing viability of champions.

i dont know what exacly changed in s4 but when bruiser like nasus, shyv, mundo, olaf rushes SV hes literally unmovable from top, maybe the lack of 8% mr pen in 9-21 builds hurt that much but its very frustrating to play vlad who is supposedly to be a counter
/god that post was a mess probably shouldnt post while in game

Shouldnt they have already? S3 alone we had Olaf, Zed, Jayce, Ryze (and maybe others that I forgot, Elise probably) with sub 50% winrates while just being batshit in Pro Games.

Given some of the recent discussions regarding Janna, i don't think so.

Yasuo's kit isn't op'd. People just aren't used to such a lopsided kit, since Riot loves to homogenize power curves.
