yeah, just showing a funny bug with the matchmaking system
|
i actually started rankeds today as the normal MM with the 4 man premades pissed me off one time too many.
the placements matches so far were hilarious, its like im on a lvl 10 smurf.
|
Also they had a level 19 and were only 2+3 instead of a full 5 like you. Seems more like matchmaking trying what it can to align people since it prioritises putting 5s against 5s in normals. Was it during "empty" hours? Did the queue take longer than usual?
|
how do u trade as shyvana? u use E to harass or Q to poke sometimes?
|
hit your E turn on W run at them auto Q and proceed to chunk them until they backoff. Shyvana top is pretty ridiculous.

But you can't back off a shyvanna, she keep running, and running, and chunking, and running at you. Then you burn flash, then she turns into a fucking dragon, and continues to chase you down.

don't remember it was a long time ago, was joking about the mmr thing, pretty sure it's just a bug

Is Hecarim still a viable jungle? Got wrecked by what I assumed was a nerfed(read bad) champion in game
|
I dabble on that champion sometimes, I think he is great, actually. Press W in teamfight and watch health go up up up up up~~~~~
I am really bad at the pony though. The ganks are hard to pull off. Nevertheless he is on my short list of champions-to-learn-to-play.

thinking about either shyv or Elise. I know both are strong, just haven't really played much of either. elise definitely has a steeper learning curve, if you are just looking to add another champ to your rotation rather than invest a bunch of time into a new main i think shyvana is the better option. hm, cool. not looking for a new "main" so to speak. is it a pretty specifiic learning curve, or if you normally play certain types of champs, you'll pick her up faster? Probably just gonna use RP, I'm only lvl 25 so I've been dumping all my IP into runes/quints. Elise has a lot of champion specific knowledge and combos to play well. Pretty much the reason why the champ is non existent below plat, but is insanely popular and strong in Diamond/Challenger.
screw it. Bought Elise. Just looked more fun then Shyv.

It's disgusting.

Got Inferno Nasus in mystery gift woot woot

IMO Elise is the least-fun champ in the entire game. I dislike everything about playing her for some reason.

I played Lux exclusively for the first 20 levels of my LoL-life. This pleases me.

He's currently like Day 3 or 4 of getting a Bronze smurf into Challenger (a week marathon). Currently in like Plat somewhere think (MMR at low/mid Diamond). Been playing shit like jungle Brand and the like, so the Elise games are interspersed among there. Currently with a 43-4 streak. Fairly good commentary, his popularity has skyrocketed the past week from like nothing to 30+k.

Anyone else notice a recent influx of champions that aren't mana based? I recall hearing Riot talk about wanting to move away from mana so the game can stay at a fast-pace, but I feel like it just lowers the skill ceiling.
I could be mistaken about that last statement.
