also, as i've said in a previous post, if you can manage to ward between enemy towers without being seen, your pink is probably going to sit there for 20 minutes+ and scouting all incoming movement to the lane, no1 checks that little brush | ||

Also, what masteries are people using lately? Last I was paying attention everyone was complaining about both offense and defense being OP while utility was crap (though honestly I think potion-biscuiteer mastery probably the bestest of all the early game ones). | ||

I think we were talking about the small strip of brush on both bot and top lanes that is on the outer boundary of the map between the 1st and 2nd towers of those lanes. They are frequently unchecked and now that I think about it even after the first tower is down (making this ward much easier to place) that ward location could still be handy for spotting people coming into lane to farm. | ||

I caught her after I blocked her stun and thus got the fear off before she could switch and Rappel. 2nd spellshield blocked a spider-Q. She fought in my trail. I got another fear off, too. Used my ult to help burst her when she was low. I won with 200 HP left. The amount of damage she does with absolutely 0 items and while being so fucking behind me (you can count: 2 levels, 4 kills, 2-3 assists, and 3 towers, I also had a bit more farm than her) is so retarded. Give her chainvest+guise instead of sunfire, or take the locket active away from me, and despite my lead, the way I caught her and outplayed her while she just stayed in spider form and right-clicked me while spamming Q and W, I'd have died instead. Why aren't people playing support Elise more anyway? The only nerf she received since we casually saw a level 7 Elise drop level 9 solo laners from 100 to 20-30 in a single burst combo on a casual basis in competitive games was losing her spider resistances, and that doesn't take anything away from said combo. Their Lucian was depressing too, tearing through 160 armour, the randuin's active and passive, my fear tether, the locket active, and forcing me out of the fight with just dash out when I engage -> aa-Q-aa-W-aa — all he had was Triforce and BFS that time, BT a bit later, but no LW in sight. Couldn't even zone him because in the end he'd walk away, ult while running back in once I had to flash out at 300 HP, and I'd have bought 4 seconds, 5 at most, while after that it was as good as a 4v5. He wasn't even fed at first. Then again Nocturne is particularly sad in teamfights. It's frustrating how poor he does late game—sure, if he gets fed enough that he can afford to build damage and still not die he's pretty strong, but with the gold changes he's way less likely to get (and maintain/snowball) a big enough lead to afford that. Went 21-9-0, ArPen/AD marks/quints. I def. felt a lack of sustain early on, and I wouldn't clear too fast past some point (despite the lizard spirit). I'd have been better off using either AD/lifesteal or AS/AD runes, I think. Considering how pathetic Vi is with a 0-21-9 setup in terms of clear speed I don't think Nocturne would do well with it either. Their Blitz with Talisman and 5 kills, 25 assists was richer than their 12 kills, 11 assists, 190 cs more Gragas. Assist streaks are fucking retarded. | ||
