Patch notes. Chaac is a new Warrior, looks rather fun in my opinion.

Vulcan now ranged, ult is a massive bomb with huge range. Passive gives him a slowing auto after her uses an ability. Seems very strong for a mage.

New camera options make it so you don't have to look at the sky to shoot far away.

Golden Guan Yu and Tyr, Golden horse for Guan ult.

Arachne, Chang'e nerfed - Nu Wa, Wukong buffed

Gonna have to trump you a bit regarding actives for hunters Req. Sprint is really fucking good. Like, T3 Sprint giving you no backpedal penalty and doesn't slow you when you auto attack is very strong for both skirmishes and all out team fights. It lets you sneak around corners and chase people really well.

Secondary active is usually either beads or aegis. If they have something that I absolutely need to use beads for (ares/fenrir ult), then I get beads. Otherwise, I usually get mobile aegis.

Yes, Bacchus has mana issues early on. However, don't buy meditate like, ever in Conquest. There's almost no point. You just have to get used to having dota-like mana costs and rely on your 2 for CC when you don't have the mana pool to spam 1 for tipsy stuns. It starts being less of a problem once you hit 6, base mana pools increase pretty naturally in this game. You kinda just wait out the miserable period and then dunk everyone with your belly late game.

I realized I had major mana problems on Bacchus cause I was maxing 1 lololol. Started going 2>3>1 and poof mana problems gone.

From watching Hunters on streams and Youtube, I'd agree. Like I said, Sprint is pretty amazing. However, Hunters (like ADCs in LoL) are rather item dependent, so what I often see is people finishing their Boots+Heartseeker (with 1 rank in Beads if lots of CC in lane) before getting Sprint. Most Hunters end Beads/Sprint, Aegis/Sprint, or Beads/Aegis.

So...Chaac is pretty borked. His 1 does an insane amount of damage, and his first rank 3 heals enough to not even need to skill it up at all.

Yeah some adjustments needed on those numbers...

His kit is pretty nice though, i liked playing him.

Level 15 now, Ares still my strongest god by far, 80% winrate now... Have been trying out Change and Ne Zha, and thinking about adding herc to the list too. Ne Zha seems fun, i just miss all my stuns and ults on him.

Do you guys build defensive items on hunters, or just trust your summoners? Those rare times i play hunter, i've just been going full class cannon, and then maybe getting aegis when needed.

I find that Hunters rarely need defensive items. Given how strong Aegis and/or Beads are, and that many Hunters have (compared to LoL, anyway) high amounts of CC, mobility, or even built-in sustain, it's not as necessary. That said, I've never seen that many 6 item Hunters, as top-level games are generally shorter and PysPower items are generally more expensive.

That said, the Magi's Blessing and Hide of the Leviathan lines are both really good one-item defensive buys, giving all 3 major defensive stats and CC reduction.

Chaak is so fun. I don't even bother skilling his 3 in most cases cause you win in hrass and all-ins with most other gods. Free spells+silly base damages OP.

I mean, I get at least one point in his 3 - the sustain is obviously nice for fights, as well as the slow (although it's fairly insignificant at one point).

I like what they're going for with him, his 1, 2 combo is super fun to use. 3 second silence on his ult is probably a bit overboard.
