Risks? It must be acknowledged outright that video game playing is a negative factor for over all health. The optimum move is to not play video games. The optimum move is to play a game that exists in the physical world. Even Pinball is healthier than video games.

This "optimum move" assertion of yours isn't necessarily true, especially if you'd otherwise be doing something less educational or less active or less healthy than playing video games. It also depends on which video games you're playing and for how long you're playing them. (You probably don't want to be sedentary for ten straight hours, but that's very different from rotating in a half hour of certain video games here and there.) There are plenty of potential benefits to certain video games, from developing decision-making / critical-thinking / analysis skills to improving dexterity / memory / cooperation / relaxation.

Christian's article literally goes into detail about these, so there's no reason for you to ignore the OP and post some incorrect / already-refuted statements. (Also, pinball isn't necessarily healthier than all video games lol.)

Depends on type of game and how long it is played.
You play some casual puzzle game for a few hours on the weekend it's probably a benefit.

Multiplayer games are such a huge part of modern gaming culture, and I appreciate how you explored both the upsides and the drawbacks.
