Honestly I don't even think Faker is as good as his hype, he's really fucking good, but he's given way too much credit on such a balanced team. I've said it before but if you look at the difference between OGN spring SKT and OGN summer SKT. In spring Faker could not solo carry his team (as has been implied many times throughout worlds) in OGN summer Piglet arose as a secondary threat as well as Bengi being much improved and suddenly they were the best team in Korea. That said beyond playing the same role, Froggen and him have very little in common. | ||

I think you underestimate how good Froggen is. Some how if you don't make it to Worlds, it must mean your skill dropped off the deep end? | ||

Froggen isn't exactly universally good. he has a large champion pool, but very few of his champions stretch outside of his comfort zone of style. He's a 1 position mid laner, which should do well in this mid driven meta, but he likes to play for the slow advantage instead of taking advantage as he advantages come. | ||

He has adapted to the more agressive mid meta, but is maybe like the 3rd or 4th best EU mid at it.(I'd take Peke, Alex and even Nukeduck first) They don't share much about playstyle other than being their teams primary carry as opposed to the AD, which isn't even that uncommon anymore. | ||
