Corki's Q, W and R all do magic damage, so the better armor pen for LW doesn't apply to them. BC's 10% CDR and higher AD does help them. Corki's E applies BC stacks very quickly. The extra AD on BC helps with his passive. If Trinity>LW is good, wouldn't Trinity>BC be better? | ||

Possibly, but a lot of corki's damage is front loaded, and the E shred is rather unreliable for getting large numbers of people. | ||

BC is nice on Corki, but only your auto and E actually procs it. While it has nice synergy with E, you don't really have any way to keep them inside your E now that Phage no longer slows. TF into LW also hits a pretty neat timing where you can do near-true damage with your autos due to how armor shred/reduction interacts. BC is quite a bit more expensive than LW. | ||

Didn't change in s2, first gatling reduces a flat amount of armour, then you take away 35% of what's left with LW. I'll probably have to try Bruta->BC on Corki a bit more, but I personally like the LW build-up better than BC. Bruta has a nice buildup, but going from Bruta to BC is 1.6k gold of no damage that you have to spend/save up, which just feels kinda awkward on an AD carry for me. I'm no AD carry main though so I could be way off base. I might try an early Bruta and not upgrade it 'til much later; that actually sounds pretty good. I know Genja was building Triforce->LW back in S2 as a tank-killer build, which worked really well since M5 liked to play "let Genja handle his own shit" and TF+LW did that very well. I can only imagine it'd work better now post-armor change. | ||

As you said I'd understand it better as a tank killer build, although the %pen mastery and item were nerfed (goes from 46% reduction to a bit above 40%, so you reduce 13% less armour unless you have additional sources, generally flat ArPen, to make up for it post-change). | ||
