Imp runs 3 mp5 glyphs as standard and judging by the rune reports from OGN summer, it seems everybody else followed suit. I don't think forgoing 4 mr is going to be all that horrible. At 1k flat health, you only lose 40 EHP against magic.

Running a couple of them? Of course. I dunno, to say you lost a lane because you down two MR is kind of reaching at best. /shrug
I dunno, my preference would be to do have the MR, but if imp can get away with it you could too.

As vayne? doesn't seem worth it. Koreans kinda like spamming auto, tumble auto, condemn though

5 glyphs gives you 1.5mp/5 which is like 55 mana every 3 minutes. How is that worth I don't understand lol?

Had an odd bug the other night. Was playing ezrael, and after an amazing laning phase bought straight into manamune. Started hitting a ward that our support had pinked, and noticed that my AUTOS were proccing the mana gain. It didn't stop there, either. Every auto i made when the tear was off cooldown was gaining me the mana! Anyone had this happen before? Known bug?

not sure if serious or amazing troll, but manamune grants you mana growth on auto attacks :}

Well, don't I feel like a derp....
Seriously thought it worked like tear and only on casts.

When teams sent him Top he would just shit on most melee champions. If not for Dade I wouldn't have been surprised if Ryze had a 0% pick rate at Worlds. Ryze is still viable if he gets fed, but even in soloq his laning phase is hell now. He didn't quite get Olaf'd, but Riot still nerfed him hard. Of course It's easy for these nerfs to overshadow things like mana cost reductions on Malz The way Ryze is designed, this is how he should be. He should need assistance getting to the mid/late game if his mid/late game are going to be as terrifying as they are. It was not ok for him to have a simple laning phase that turns into a monstrous late game. I'm not saying that this is good champ design - but with his power curve, as far as I'm concerned, the nerf was required. The range nerf was a big nerf to his mid-late game as well. No denying he kinda OP before the patch, but riot seems to overnerf things a lot.

Been playing mainly Shen after playing nothing but Fiora for like 40 games in a row.
Well it's amazing how much less work you need to put in as Shen. Maybe I should just play strong champions instead of champions I like. Get teamwork honors for free, too. Also dunking 60%+ of a carry's hp with a tank + triforce build is fair.

My friend has an issue with this. He plays all stupid and weak champs like Poppy, AD YI (pre re-work), jungle Shen with wriggles, etc. After many times of pointing out his flaws and him dropping from Silver II to V due to his awful champ pool he finally fixed it this past week and picked up J4 and Elise. Messages me "I have come to terms with some champs just aren't good". lol
Edit: However it's not quite all good yet, he refuses to build any spirit item but Eldar Lizard (I guess it's at least better than when he built wriggles on EVERYONE, even if laning) and keeps rushing Warmogs's 2nd item.

when people stop being stubborn they usually get better

Trust me I know, we (me and another friend) explained it. Many many times.
The true kicker of his now former love affair with Wriggles? He never used the ward. At any time in any game. I watched maybe about 4-5 hours of his play one week and saw him use it 0 times. When he built it in lane he would buy additional green wards and place them.

Almost every champion that fits the role has been played in the LCS at one point. The overbuff of Triforce completely ruined that aspect just at the right moment for Worlds. Sad. You're correct that the Trinity Force buff hasn't helped anything, but "At one point" is a tricky phrase. We saw Draven played in the LCS "at one point", but the chances of him appearing at Worlds were and are practically nil. The same can be said for many other champions who were popular picks in the LCS "at one point". What matters is the diversity that exists now, and generally speaking I don't think it's particularly great. Here are all the picks for each role so far: - Top: Kennen, Malphite, Nasus, Renekton, Rumble, Shen, Singed, Yorick, Zac
- Jungle: Aatrox, Elise, Evelynn, Jarvan, Lee Sin, Nocturne, Vi
- Mid: Ahri, Diana, Gragas, Fizz, Lissandra, Orianna, Swain, Ryze, Zed
- ADC: Caitlyn, Corki, Ezreal, Kog'maw, Vayne
- Support: Fiddlesticks, Leona, Nami, Thresh, Sona, Zyra
I've bolded those that surprised me. Out of a pool of 115 champions we've seen a total of 36, with 5 big surprises. Granted, that's only day 1, but I doubt that number is going to dramatically expand going forward. By the time Worlds is over I expect we'll see another 19 champions at most, leaving us at less than half of the available pool (which excludes Lucian). It's not a complete diversity disaster, but it could be better.
Why are you surprised by Singed? Korea has been picking him into Shen for quite some time. Ryze is a surprise, mostly because he is bad, and was picked as an Ahri "counter", which he doesn't do anymore because of the range nerf.
Edit: Also I feel like more people should pick Kog into Vayne, its a pretty nice play if you can swing it.

Better than fp d1 ez who goes tear/lizard/vamp while losing lane.Who also happens to be ad main with ez most played.
Like yeah ez is fun but there is nothing worse than watching people fail on ez.

I always find Noc ult fails the funniest. Nothing like your whole screen going black followed by "DARKNESS!!!!!!!!" and "An enemy has been slain" 1/4 second after. You don't know what happened, but you know that Noc is now very sad.

Old nunu/kog was fun vs Vayne. Bloodboil and then just run at the Vayne, snowballing her and focusing with autos. No shits given about the enemy support.
