If the champion has physical abilities but scales with AP, Riot can go crazy with the ratios, because they don't have to balance around the auto attacks the same way they have to with AD casters. Shouldn't be that hard to balance imo. Just build Standard AP with LW if you really need penetration. | ||

for dota, maybe pros that draw their expertise entirely from their extensive understanding and experience of the game would have a rougher time adapting than those with excellent mechanics and aggression, but i'm sure they could also come to understand league over some time. and smurfs are awesome, fk the haters. i've been in the 20 min queue time elo hell and out of it, but solo queue becomes a grind at some point or another even if you don't reach that point. playing at different levels, while it might be unfair to others, can be more relaxing / carefree if you don't want others stalking / judging you for your "main" account's reputation or rank etc. | ||

Honestly, if they put in just a hundred more games I'd guarantee they'd become a LOT better. I knew a HoN pro who picked the game up, got to level 30, and just after a couple weeks he was diamond ELO. But everyone is pretty terrible when switching games for the first 50-100 or so. | ||

I never really saw any reason for DotA to be harder than LoL on the highest levels, it mostly comes down to the same skills, but I never even thought about LoL being the harder game. To get a grasp of the aAa teams relative level, what LoL team would you compare them to? | ||
