From Wiki: Current (July 2011) formula for XP winning a Normal game at level 15-19 is roughly 3m+25, where m is the number of minutes the game lasts, capped at 198. Intermediate Bot games at level 10-14 use the same formula. At level 15-19, Intermediate Bot games subtract a 25% penalty from that formula, and give XP for only the first 180 minutes a day of play.

You don't even need other people if you're willing to spend a few dollars on xp boosts. (Not that friends won't help this go even better.) Really easy formula for it: 1) buy master yi (any champ will do, but I can't imagine anyone being as good) and both types of xp boosts (they stack) 2) twisted treeline custom against sona bot (any bot will do, but this one is the best from personal experience) 3) start with teleport/smite and flask + pots (at low levels you can be safe and 5hp/4mp, but the time you're to 20 you don't even need a single potion) Go bot. Proxy first wave with smite. Deal some tower damage, kite/proxy second wave (kiting is easier, especially at lower level). Kill tower. Here's the important part: only kill the cannon (smite) and casters in the next wave. Let your own wave bunch up on the melees. This will give you much more than one wave for the next one + tower. Kill the tower, back and buy a dorans blade or two (less pots = easier 2x blades). teleport back for inhib and nexus. Without any masteries or runes this can be done in less than 5:30. By the time I was level 10 (tower damage mastery and a few damage runes), I had often had to wait to dps the nexus to ensure 5:00 had passed. There's lots of video's with this basic idea floating around if you youtube. I just found the 3 wave clump and teleport instead of heal guaranteed 5 minute games worth a very good chunk of xp. But be aware: once your xp boosts run and/or your custom game timer for that day run out this isn't worth it at all. Especially with how linear/un-fun it is.

But be aware: once your xp boosts run and/or your custom game timer for that day run out this isn't worth it at all. Especially with how linear/un-fun it is. Tried it on a level 7 account, killed nexus after 5:15, got 34 xp without any boost (34*2*2=136 xp with double boosts). 40000 xp from 1 to 30, 40000/136 = about 300 games. 300 * 5 minutes = 1500 minutes = 25 hours. So since you can get xp for 3 hours every day, it would take 8-9 days from level 1 to 30, if you do it perfectly.

I get 83 exp, and I can generally finish between 5:00 and 5:15, for just under 1k xp an hour total. Not bad I think.
