There should be no raging post game, which is something that has consistently plagued TL IHs in the past. (oh, the amount of butthurt stories I've heard...) Yango approached me about this a few days ago about how he felt sorry for some of you guys who have never gotten to LoL beyond solo queue. This is a great idea, I would participate for sure! Kinda like that LiquidPractice thread, but better and more organized. Hey, what ever happened to the guy who organized that thing anyway? He must have gone off to college and stopped playing league as often or something.. edit: Also, can anyone here teach me how to kassadin? He's supposedly really strong but I can never do well with him. Even when I make it out of the laning phase with good CS, I find myself blinking onto their AD in team fights and doing 70% of his health and then getting CC'd and blown up instantly.

I play jungler main so im usually big tanky engage-y types like J4, Rammus, Naut etc. but what i dont get is i always initiate onto their fed-carry (adc or mid) and peel them, they spend the majority of the fight running from me with somebody else tailing to get me off them. But my team dies anyway. I dont fucking get it. Im doing what i can, i dive in first and attract attention, peel the high-damage dude, get someone else following me so i leave them 3v4 without focus (I cant imagine bronze players auto switching from me as soon as the team follows up) but they just fucking die. Its standard that im in a 1v2 situation, i dive in, peel the carry and expect to die / take one with me but when i die and then watch as they've just been Aced. Im left in a "wtf" situation. Am i doing this wrong? Should i not be peeling the carry and trying to pull others away? :| Should i focus on keep them off my carries instead? I know the ideal situation is to have the carries killed, which happens too, but in the event that they start running from me, i follow to keep them out of the fight and pull others onto me, the tanky fucker.

It really depends on team comp and who is fed and who isn't. When I first started playing J4 I always dove the carry after building full tank and there been many a game where I survive for 15 seconds with 3 people wailing on me and then we lose. Basically you have to analyze in your head how a fight turns out. For example if your team is a marksmen, lux jayce and they have Renekton, Nasus and Irelia, you might not want to dive and wail on the Ezreal as J4. You might want to peel instead. Viceversa on the Nasus, theres no reason he should peel ezreal for the no damage dealer J4. He should go slow and wail on some ADC with his dive buddies.

And that's the point where you feel helpless playing a tank&intiator. I've had games on Naut where I attract 3 people onto me -> adc, mid and sup - and proceed to die... Sometimes the same thing happens to me however and I'm the last person to die on my team. It boggles me how 4 people manage to not only lose, but die super quick to a shen, jarvan combo, but it happens I guess. Sure these moments may be the most memorable, but I'd imagine that this would only be the case in games where you are drastically behind and it doesn't matter what you do in the fight.

I don't think, even as a tank, you're looking to die. You should never think about dying for the team. For example, instead of diving on the carry, maybe you could kite the carry around by being in the front but staying in and out of range. Maybe you can use cooldowns for their frontline yet still remain a credible threat to the backline. Maybe your timing when you dive is bad, and you could be using some of that time to kite backwards and attack their frontline before stretching forward again. Maybe you can use cooldowns on their backline, then run back to join your team. A bad tank player will dive the carry and then just die. Unless you have a legit shot of killing them by yourself, don't do it.

I was able to walk in without taking much damage, ulting half their team to get Vayne, then sit on top of her (once passive + E were spent I couldn't compete with Tumble obviously), she usually didn't do much until I was around half HP and most of their team turned on me, however we always lost the fights. Nami wasn't good is one thing (I used my hard cc to get Vayne out, so it was up to the others to interrupt Anivia's ult, and Nami had the best spell for that), but it mostly came from the teamcomps. Lee, Ahri are skill-shot reliants champions so the simple presence of Elise and her free sponges was enough to cripple their viable angles of approach. We also had shit dps (Naut sucks, esp. since they gutted his shield by 25% of its damage, Ahri is mediocre once her ult is spent) with Draven being trashed on by Malph (no AS, and MS slow so he can't get his axes). Draft went: Elise - Ahri Nautilus - Anivia Vayne - Lee Sin Draven - Malphite Taric - Nami Draven because they had Vayne, despite him being less dominant, and more importantly after Anivia despite him lacking mobility and slows hurting his ability to deal sustained damage by catching axes. Also low range making sieging towers hard. Lee Sin was a mediocre pick too considering the Elise (could go top or mid, spiderlings to reduce his damage in lane or tank his Qs during sieges/fights) and our already debatable scaling with Ahri+Naut (Lee+Draven was just part of the combo). Then they picked Malphite to shit all over Draven in fights and have their initiations (apart from a cocoon). Nami-Draven should have been the superior lane to Vayne-Taric, however between Nami being bad and a few screw-ups from my part, we ended up trading kills several times, which favoured Vayne (also too slow, allowed Elise to clean-up several times). Since we couldn't kill towers easily (Lee didn't roam much despite crushing Malph so we relied on Draven who's one, if not the, worst ADs to kill them) and Anivia is a pretty retarded champion, we weren't able to leverage a midgame lead to snowball, nor to force them to fight on our terms in open grounds to nullify Malphite's and Anivia's zone control. Doesn't matter our initiation or my ability to stick to Vayne, with such a draft we were pretty boned from the start. So it's not always the players. ![]() They took Elise first, then Ahri and Naut for us, followed by Vayne and Anivia for them, and L
