Duo AP mid might "work" in low-level solo queue because the other team doesn't know how to deal with it / take advantage / just be generally worse at the game. Doesn't mean you should do it.

In SC2 terms, it's like 6-pooling every time you get ZvT on Xel'Naga Caverns because you don't know how to deal with the situation and you'd rather try to do something easy (that doesn't really help you improve in meaningful ways) rather than learning something new.

3.9 (balance update) came out on July 11. Aatrox was released on June 13.

Yeah, you really just want to either poke Tryndamere a lot with a ranged champion, or do short burst trades with melees. Everything in Tryndamere's kit is about auto attacking you over and over again. He has high mobility, his Q and passive give him crit and damage, and his W reduces your attack speed. So, if you stand there trading auto attacks, expect that to go poorly. Short trades are only really bad for you if he gets really lucky with crits. This occasionally happens, but as long as you play properly it shouldn't be fatal.

I dunno, who are you to tell someone how to play?

I remember I had a friend who was a B- in BW iCCup and he had nothing but cheese starts. Past that he was absolutely garbage, but all his cheese was well executed, so if I defended it my borderline D-/D macro would kill him.

But he could still say he was B-. And he didn't have any competitive aspirations anyway.

As far as I know, tryn beats lee at the super early levels, 1-2. But then you get to spam all your spells as lee and kill tryn for a long time. Once tryn gets a few items, unless the lee has the dps to out trade you, he gets his shit pushed in. Pantheon fucking destroys tryn. Start w at level one, you get to block most of the tryns autos. Then you just poke him out.
