my winrate skyrocketed after i got a new computer do you think new hardware helps your record? i know on elophant or somewhere, they mapped that challenger tier players have the lowest ping by far, on average. perhaps having a higher framerate helps too? for record, since lol's inception i've been playing on a piece of shit dell that gave me ~30fps on lowest settings. on my new computer i'm getting 240 fps on max graphics. now obviously your eye can't even distinguish that many frames past a certain point and whatnot, but it certainly seems to have helped somewhat \o/ i also haven't lost yet with spirit guard udyr. that skin is overpowered

Just promoted to Silver IV and looking to get to at least Silver III today. protip: don't put short time constraints on your goals unless you're like a diamond smurf. it'll just put you on tilt if you have a few bad games.

Higher character detail helps you see skills coming and higher FPS allows you to react faster up until the refresh rate of your monitor. Not much point to going anywhere beyond 120 fps though if your monitor supports even that..

I barely notice the difference from 30. I do have lag spikes every few minutes that are really annoying and of course low ping helps. You can't get good without skills but the hardware helps. ![]() Then again in M5's heyday I hear they played in like 200 ping.

Dont know about cheap (probably inst) but the PS3 controller works really well and can function with any 360/Microsoft game. The ps3 controller is almost half the price of the 360 so my recommendation is there. I'd say logitech are good but they are probably higher price

If the other AD is splitpushing though, I think that Rammus would excel at 5v4 fights at the enemy tower because of his burst tankiness and structure DPS. In 5v5's it really depends on the rest of each team comp -- I doubt an anti-carry would be inherently bad against a team running two carries.

They're extremely vulnerable to well played aoe cc comps in the beginning of late game. They can be shutdown by tankline splitpushing with stuff like shen. Poke comps are insanely strong as well.

Also, generally i'd say try to upload replays instead, as people can watch them on their own time instead of yours. I think we had a thread for that at some point, but i don't know if that one has disappeared.

I'm just saying the point of double ad is that if 1 gets locked down you still have another. The fact that Rammus can only like down 1 is the point of the comp. I guess Guys like Malphite and ZAC can lock down more, but they are better than Rammus vs. any comp, not just double AD.
