Usually people have less MR than armor, except facing double AP.

and AD is reduced by Armor lol, so I don't think it matters that much. Moreover, you reduce the enemy's mr by 5 every hit, so it's like mpen.
Moreover, consider that if you get Wit's End after your 1st or 2nd core, your timing should be faster than bulwark

1 word. Bulwark.
5 stack of mr pretty much burn bulwark or the boot. if you combine with your APmid's mpen, it's a pretty deathly combo.

Yah. It's magic damage so it follows the rules of all other forms of magic damage. It just happens to be on-hit.

I've been trying Wit's End on adcs, such as Vayne, Caitlyn, so far I quite like it. I usually get it after 2 cores (botrk/bt and pd). So far this is what I see: - Unless you adc got initiated on, it's pretty easy to gain and maintain 5 stack of +5mr. Wit's End and PD gives you beast attack speed to get stacks up in seconds. - Wit's End gives 42 magic damage on hit, so in a sense it gives +42 attack damage. For the price of 2400g, it's actually pretty decent. The con is it doesn't scale with crit. - the -mr doesn't really give adc advantage, but it's surprisingly a good teamfight item. I love it when the enemy champions, such as Nasus, Malphite,.v..v, run straight in our team to try to initiate a fight, and I lower his mr so fast that our AP can drop him half health in one spell rotation. - With champion like Caitlyn, you can switch target and lower the mr of more than 1 enemy champions.
Overall, I like Wit's End on adc so far, but I haven't played enough game to get a hold of its advantage and disadvantage.
1) An AD Carry wants MR because the thing they are most scared of is sudden burst. The enemy Lissandra/Annie/Gragas/Diana/Katarina/Kassadin/Akali/Nidalee-spear/Rumble/insert-other-scary-thing-here is not going to wait for you to autoattack multiple times before they burst your face. They are going to wreck your face as soon as it is convenient. At that point you'd rather just have a GA because that has more base MR.
2) QSS is amazingly powerful. Breaking out of any CC you want and being able to reposition is amazing, and it has almost as much MR as a fully stacked Wits End + Wits End base MR and you didn't even need to autoattack anything. Plus, a QSS in total is about the same cost as just the raw components of a Wits End. So that's 1k gold towards, say, a LW you're giving up. Heck, you could just get a Negatron + BF Sword for the same cost as a Wits End, and that's going to be far more scary.
3) Wits End + PD is way too much AS. You're highly unlikely to be able to literally stand there and right click without needing to kite. And if you can, then you probably don't need the defensive stats from Wits End.
4) Dropping people's MR is not that useful since you're just going to be hitting whoever you can safely, and that's not necessarily the person your AP player is going to be hitting. It works in tandem with, say, Irelia because she's hitting a carry who your burst mage is highly interested in blowing up. You're probably hitting a tank and your Annie is not interested in wasting her spell rotation on the Shen.
5) MR damage does not synergise with the AD/AS/APen/Crit you build. Against a 150 MR tank your 42 magic damage is doing less than just buying another Pickaxe would have done.
6) It's a waste for your Caitlyn trying to tactically lower people's MR (I don't see where she even has time to do this in a fight). You'd rather just get massive amounts of Crit/AD/APen and just auto people's faces into mush.
'cept if you have IE as your first item, the %crit from a Zeal is probably going to compensate the on-hit from Wit's, without needing to be stacked like the MR shred, and you'll get more stats for the slot once the PD/Shiv is completed.
The "timing" is super short before the bulwark is completed and your 2k Wit's is shut-down. Wit's is actually pretty poor slot-wise and doesn't scale that well on most champs, it's more of a "1-2-items timing" item (like triforce and BotRK) which means you'll just delay your important stuff. Also it pales in comparison to offensive and defensive alternatives.
In the end you're better off buying a negatron if you're in need of MR and then resume building slot-effective multiplicative stats.

The problem is if you miss the timing you've pretty much sunk all the gold into nothing. The power of the PD/IE/LW+Vamp core is that everything is % multiplicative damage scaling, and then because of Lifesteal it becomes eHP boost too.
While Wit's End might have a really cost-effective timing against a low MR team, the item gets worse and worse the more gold you have.
Wit's/BotRK Kog'Maw might still have a sick timing if your top and mid have insane farm priority.

It's nothing like AD; though. AD gives multiplicative scaling due to crit; the magic dmg from wits end does not. The MR shred is nice; but it adds nothing to the core kit of the champion. Also another thing to think about is; For the next 2400; would I rather get LW or Wit's End. The answer becomes far more clear. Also a thing about Attack Speed; you only want enough attack speed that you can kite correctly with. Wit's end + BotRK+ PD is actually "too much" attackspeed, makes 100% effective orb walking really hard.
Meh; even wit's end + botrk timing on kog would be pretty bad imo.
today is the last day of the sale, my willpower has held. Honestly if I could give primal to a secondary account I would, but as is I just can't justify spending so much money to bench Primal, which was already one of the best skins in the game imo.

I'm a bit sad that I'm on holiday when spirit guard udyr came out. If I could I would insta lock udyr every time and play with normal skin to taunt everyone who insta purchased SGU.

My willingness to buy SGU is at $10. But because it is priced at $15 and will only go up, I got sucked in by the artificial scarcity created by "sale" of an infinite resource to cough up the $5

yea it's though -.-, a lot of what gets me is I returned Pulsefire when refunds came out, and now that I don't see it every game I kinda regret it, because @$25 it may as well have been limited.
Friday, I met someone and played 3 amazing DUO ranked. Guy was playing an insane ADC and we seemed like we were a good duo bot lane (he was super aggressive, maybe too aggressive, whereas I was more the "thinking" guy). He was able to follow my leona very well, so we secured many games on our own.
Today, I decided to queue with him again. Those two were the most frustrating game ever. He seems to lack any knowledge of when to do a trade, and when not. Many of his flash'es' today were absolutely horrible. His thoughts seem to be focused on killing champions (always asking me to initiate) He seems to not comprehend that objectives are almost always more important than a wave... So Friday, he would listen to me. Today, nope. It's kind of funny that I didn't realize his flaws back then, Friday. Maybe we notice bad things when we are losing? Most players would stop aggression if my leona missed E. But he would still go in, leaving me with little choice but to follow
What would you do to try to make him realize his mistakes/improve? I feel he has a good potential as a duo queue partner... but it feels like he's not going to listen to me.

I just realized they for sure timed this to counter the Steam Sale.

my only real annoyance with the whole thing was when Guitar said he asked around on TL and didn't get much feedback, when there was at least 10 posts saying he wasn't the best guy. I realise he was in a shitty spot and had to get someone asap so he's gotta do what he's gotta do but I honestly felt like he tried to make it sound like we endorsed it (which he doesn't need thats not what I'm saying) when we didn't.
Well, in gtrsrs's defense, he got a bunch of content basically saying "this guy is BM" and honestly, that's not really saying a lot when you look at a majority of LoL players, especially considering that people can and do change their attitude over time, especially when there's a reason to.
The people posting stuff against deezer should have prioritized his more egregious offenses like maphacking, drophacking, streamcheating, knowing that trash talking in SC2 ladder games in 2011 really isn't something that matters all THAT much.
That's being overly generous. gtrsrs knew who deezer was when he allowed him to play for VES. And that was in the best interest of the team nevertheless. But the thing is when you make a deal with the devil you need to be specific as to what you're bargaining for. Much like the protagonist Elliot Richards in the classic film Bedazzled, you may get your wish (LCS TEAM!) but it may be twisted and nothing like you'd hoped for (4-13).
Hire an attorney specializing in the dark arts the next time is my advice.

God not having the «you won't fall deeper» net that was Diamond V is so stressful >< They really need to create a pre-challenger league.
Isn't that what Diamond 1 is?
Diamond I is pretty much bullshit.
There's no clue for your improvment since starting from 80lp you'll win 2/1 lp a game and even 0, and lose ~5. Getting to challenger requires you to 1) get your MMR high enough 2) have a friggin lucky 10~ win streak. And from Diamond I 0lp to Diamond I 80lp, there's a huge gap, which isn't really shown by the ranking system.
