What kind of double ad comps are you talking about?I have yet to see one that doesn't have an ez mid.

Probably haven't played vs a good one yet cause all of em seem to suck.

yeah, ez mid counts as double AD. Twitch can work, one Corki guy has been terrorizing challanger soloQ for a few days now. I've seen caitlyn used too but not sure if she's good.

I've met a ton of bad quinn tops lately (shitty builds and bad teamfighting etc). I guess when someone actually good starts to do it then more capable ppl start to pick her up and learn how she works. also its pretty fun how you can setup a team with very badly balanced damage types and still do very well. This is a good thing imo because the whole magical vs physical damage thing doesn't add any depth whatsoever.

the damage types in wc3 made sense because you wanted to protect heroes from ranged attacks and spells more than generic units. but in dota and lol it actually doesn't add anything to the game that is truly interesting.

I strongly disagree with mixed damage adding little depth, I don't think the difference is even under powered, it's just in a good place.

i have to rephrase: as long as the damage type system adds tradeoffs and options then it also adds depth. We agree on it being in a pretty good place right now. I think when you can decide between a pick that adds more to the comp from with his kit but shifts the damage type stongly in one direction then its a good system, but I would rather have the damage type system removed when it wasn't a real decision and you had to pick another champ because of the type system.

Hopefully new champ comes out this week, pretty stoked to play him. Driving long distances sucks.... Half way to Prince George to start a new job. ZzzzzzZzzZzzzZzz (for reference I started in chilliwack near Vancouver. It's an 8 hour drive)

1) Excellent at pushing towers when coordinated. Ezreal is in a state where you don't run into the normal double ad pitfalls.
2) I've never seen a compelling reason to do it. You're depending on your jungler to win your lane for you.

Incidently, I realize that your two questions were unrelated, double ad would be a compelling reason to run leona top. Leona tanks very well, but also needs a threshold of gold to do so (usually aegis or locket as support), before farm is useless on her, which situates her well as a 3/4 position top (you can run an farm-happy jungler too).

The passive proc helps make up for the lack of magic damage with double ad, and if laning phase is long you could just switch the jungler to top lane and let the leona gank

EDIT: by time your shield well, I mean while it's setting up, try autoing creeps to get them low, so you'll knock out multiple creeps with the aoe
