Suffice to say, I am thoroughly amused. Anything more would be ungraceful.

Positive side, it was Ezreal not some reset champ like Kat.
Negative side, it was an ARAM ;( Grats. I had what would have been my first penta, stolen yesterday. (Summoner's rift, I was Ryze.) I've only got 2 ace quadras, not even a chance for penta.
I got my first Penta with a Sivir W. I didn't even know I got it until I read the chat log. I was useless all game, so they didnt focus me, and I just quietly KS'd all 5.
Come to think of it, I didn't realize I was about to get my second until I heard my friends screaming "Don't let him get a penta" over skype. I focus too much on my champion I guess. Also, I wish we saw Sivir in competitive more, Sivir Graves is such an abusive lane. I can see why we never do though. She feels bad to play compared to others.
Edit: Meant to quote Diamond. Oops.

According to the numbers, the majority clearly agrees with me. There's no skill ceiling in LoL; it's a person vs person match up. Not sure I understand what you mean by that.

You can't have a skill ceiling in a player vs player match up. Because you're matching up with another person; so the skill level is whoever outplays who; not some arbitrary skill ceiling. If anything; it's more appropriate to talk about skill floor; LoL has a much lower skill floor; it's f2p, so easy access; less complexity, so easier to understand at a basic level; etc etc. But, to talk about skill floor is a rather moot point when talking about pro-level esports play.

I think you mean something else by skill ceiling. When most people talk about skill ceiling they mean perfect play. For example noughts and crosses is player vs player but has a clear skill ceiling (perfect play).

What actually defines perfect play though?
You could hit every CS in first 5 minutes as karthus, but did that really constitute perfect play? Faker did it sitting in the creep wave lasthitting with a lot of auto's so he could save mana to zone and Q the opponent. He missed a couple of creeps for it though. Is that the same perfect play as somebody who hits every single last hit, but did almost it all with Q from 800 range, and let enemy free farm?
One is more optimal, one is more perfect. Neither is the skill ceiling, and I highly doubt it will be hit either.

skill ceiling would be to dodge every karthus q and rape him u mad
talking about skill ceiling when playing one of the most boring passive champs in one of the most boring passive lanes during the laning phase is pretty dumb as well

Otherwise you could argue that rock paper scissors has a gigantic skill ceiling or whatever. In LoL it's rather easy to perfectly control your champion to make it do exactly what you want it to do, I don't really see how this is arguable

Yes I also agree it's stupid to talk about skill ceilings but people love to do it.
Well it is possible to talk about mechanical skill ceilings, but often people are comparing the quality of games based on their mechanical requirements, a near worthless discussion.

so chess has very low skill ceiling since everyone with an arm and a hand has mastered its mechanics perfectly.
