KT B made its name with a playstyle that's highly centered around Score and his development. InSec as a player is one that requires a lot of attention and functions best with a team that revolves around him. Fundamentally, this is hard to resolve with KT B's existing playstyle. Now he's going to play a role more suited to building a playstyle around though. Just question is is it really worth it to completely change just to accommodate insec Yeah, that's the real question. Although now that they have Kakao back in the Jungle ssumday was easily their most replaceable member of their team.

I used to think I was decent at ADC, but the more I play it the more I feel useless; it's either I win lane hardcore, lose it hardcore (Draven says "fuck you" to any non-Draven, non-CC champ), or break even and then usually end up losing in team fights. The champ I play most bot lane is Ezreal, but I'm also pretty good with Caitlyn, Vayne, and Varus in bot lane (whenever they go free for the week).
Looking for some help with evaulating ADC champs basically, and wondering if it's possible a champ normally played in mid lane can be played in bot lane as a APC bot.
So far, the ADC champs I'm looking at for bot lane are: Ezreal, Draven, Varus, Graves, Tristana, Caitlyn, Vayne.
The champs I'm looking at that normally go mid but might (in theory) work in bot lane are: Karma, Lux, Ryze, Lissandra, Brand, Syndra.
Late but whatever...
If you're looking to pick up champs that are consistent don't consider playing an AP in bot lane. Yeah, AP and support combo in bot lane can work. It really can. But it's unreliable and inconsistent. If you want to play an AP champion just go mid lane dude.
As for ADCs to pick up typically you want to pick up at least one ADC for each of the major archetypes (or at least pick up ones that suit your play style). Pick up at least one ADC that has safe laning that will always get farmed no matter what the enemy bot lane picks (Ezreal or Caitlyn). Pick up one lane bully (Graves, Draven, MF, maybe Urgot). One late game monster (Kog'Maw, Vayne, Tristana). And then, if you play 5s especially, pick up a more utility centric ADC (Ashe, Varus, Urgot).
You already play Ez, Cait, Vayne, and Varus. So I'd recommend picking up someone who can lane bully. Or if your style of ADC is more about carrying games late and doing the sick DPS avoid early game lane bullies and bolster your ADC roster by picking up Trist or Kog or maybe even Ashe. I feel like the four ADCs you know right now are really good you just might want to add like one more to your repertoire (as I said, either a lane bully like Draven/Graves or else another ADC that does lots of dps such as Trist since Vayne is a bit less reliable than Trist imo).

How is Cait not a lane bully :o

Cait wins lane only if you are better than your opponent.Otherwise she isn't very good.Same with ez.

You can lane bully as Caitlyn but I consider her more of a safe pick since you're gonna get CS every game and you don't really have losing match ups.
It's way easier to bully people as Draven or Graves than it is as Caitlyn imoimo. I mean you could realistically call Caitlyn a late game monster too. Or possibly even call Draven a safe laner since I can't think of any match ups he has in lane phase that he loses.
These are just really vague terms, ADCs are all so similar that if you seriously commit to the role you're probably gonna end up learning all but one or two of them anyways.

Graves/Draven have more all-in potential, yeah?

Yeah. Caitlyn doesn't even really all-in people. Just harasses them down and zones them.

Caitlyn is the safest pick and the easiest adc to lane with

You guys are all forgetting the most OP ADC to play ever, Miss Fortune. I'm glad she fell under the radar so she won't get nerfed but she is so strong...

My roommate plays a lot of ADC and considers MF to be a free win. Obviously this is because he isn't at a competitive level, but it shows that her aggression and dueling power pays off in spades, especially when people cannot react properly.

I just wish they'd change her christmas skin splash to the Chinese one already...

Good thing she is in the top of most boring champs to play.

She's a good lane bully and is really easy to play.
Draven abuses people harder though and honestly I've always liked Graves and consider him to be more fun to play than MF. I think in the current patch Graves is probably better at lane bullying and has a stronger mid game than MF though. Draven is better at both of them when it comes to being a bully in lane but Graves and MF both have sick AoE damage.
Of course if you land a perfect MF ult in a team fight she's probably worth more than Graves and Draven in mid game but that's much easier said than done.

She never had a win rate superior to 50% either in SoloQ or competitive play because picking Caitlyn is basically saying «YAY I CAN PUSH TOWERS FAST please carry me with your bonus 2 wards».

caitlyns traps arent bad and her range is nice but generally yeah the least scary ad to paly aganist as pretty much every melee

That's been my experience with Caitlyn, its really hard to get to scary level compared to other options.

Q is just way too long to cast to use outside of finishing people off. W is a trap with ~0.5s animation time cast, and not even instant. You're not going to use that. E is an escape. Which does close to no damage and takes a pretty long time to take effect. R is a 2s channeled single target nuke that deals less damage than an auto.
Cait can pretty much only right click, when most ADs have other things to offer to their team.

Caitlyn makes my life hell here in China, once every ten games you get this mechanical god beast who kites amazing and only plays cait and chases me out of bot lane T_T
