E.g. I had to teach a kid about a problem involving a rope on a pulley with both mass and friction and even though I could do the calculus the result made no sense to me because it implied tension in the rope was nonconstant linearly and I was drilled so hard in physics B that ropes have uniform tension My AP physics B class had the single worst distribution of grades in my schools history. 1 : 8 2 : 5 3 : 7 4 : 1 5 : 1 The raw scores necessary to get a 1 on Physics B are alramingly low, or at least they were 10 years ago when I took the exam. That there isn't at least 1 teacher capable of boosting high achieving students to a more respectable distribution than that in every high school is pretty alarming. I came on teamliquid to take my mind off the three AP exams I am taking this week, and this is the first thing I see... I think I'll just go and lock myself in my room, and try not to burn my Barron's guides in a bonfire. Apologies. I actually didn't know we had so many American high schoolers in TL LOL.

But the tension is not uniform. Real pullies have changing friction, changing torques do to weight changes (rope has mass), and changing mass moments of inertia's based on amount of rope on/off the pulley.
Consider an industrial hoist made with large loads and heavy gauge wire. Depending on where in cycle of hoist same input torques can have vastly different lifting speeds.

Depends on how exact of work you're doing. High school physics; even AP, just want you to understand the basics of what each equation is telling you, and how to use the damn thing. For the most part; if you're dealing with non sensitive work; vague basic functions are good enough. It's the same reason ideal gas law is used for a lot of gas calculations, even if all gases actually don't work like ideal gases. The more hung up you get on the small stuff; the more time you're wasting not solving the actual problem.

This is very true. I forget not everyone
Also, depend on exact case; it a pretty fair assumption if system is static that all tensions uniform, but I digress.

I had an amazing AP Bio teacher (my favorite high school teacher hands down), got 5s on all of our practice exams, and then had took of the harder AP Bio tests in a long time (nationwide scores were well below average) and got a 3 On the bright side my college gave the same credit hours for a 3 or higher so the only thing hurt was my pride.

You're lucky, I grew up with older brother that got 5's on all 8 of his AP exams he took. Teachers practically expected me to be the 2nd walking of the messiah after they had my brother as a student.
Suffice to say, I was a let down.

The horrors of having a sister that had exactly 1 non A+ in university and that now works for Google.
On the plus side she gave me a Nexus 7 for Christmas.

chalice working out very well for me, thanks for the tip after maxing q, do you do W or E? i tried both, increasing the radius of the aoe stun didnt really seem to help that much

R>Q>W>E
E max is for special situations like in ARAM. E bonus doesnt increase the stun radius, just the width of the push. You would max it just for the lowered CD. You do want one point in E early though.

Basically your Q is always up and you just spam it and abuse the fact it applies on-hit effects. It works if your ahead but if you fall behind it's kind of shit. I like it Top or Mid Ez better so you still have a proper ADC, the build itself is interesting

I only took AP World History sophomore year (4) and AP Calculus BC senior year (4 as well. Damn series shit - didn't understand that stuff one bit).
We had the IB diploma so I did that. Math SL was one of my favorite classes of all time. Unfortunately, WPI only took my AP classes as credit.
I could have gone to University of Wisconsin as a sophomore with my IB credits Oh well. Why would I want to go to college for less time anyways?
Edit: Zergling!

Sejuani reworked is overpowered. The three first best in slot items make her and pain in the ass. Total control and overloaded with CC.

So. New Tomb Raider. 50% off until 10AM PST (in 9 hours) on Steam. I heard it was good.
Then I look at my Steam library and see all of these unplayed RPG games with great reviews I've bought during sales (e.g. Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed)...
Welp. Maybe I should just spend the money for more skins...

Have you played Braid before? That game is cheap on Steam and totally worth it. The soundtrack is sick as hell too.
Also just remembered I have Sejuani on my account! That means I get a free skin right? Noice! I think that's the first skin I own haha.
