Thing is it's real easy for Lissandra to turn it into a farm fest. All 3 of her skills are redonk for waveclear, and she can do wraiths easy. If she's not Eing towards you you can't kill her. I can see how Viktor would win a straight fight though. | ||

The only Lissandra I've faced was support and I tooled on her with Leona. But I can definitely see Viktor doing well. He's still quite strong. | ||

For the life of me I can't get the hang of the ult in team-fights. It feels really difficult, due to range, to get that ult off in the middle of the enemy team. E'ing into the middle never worked out well! Should I just ult the closest threatening target, use it as even more peel or as an Oshit button for when I'm about to die? I know it depends on teamcomp, but does anyone have a feel for what her first couple of items should be? Not sure if she's best suited for an early RoA, Doran rings or even starting a tear for Seraphs. | ||

I'm thinking basically you just spam Q, and the shield mitigates trading damage, use W as your cc, E can poke/check bushes and be used for extra damage. Ult is just regular old ult. | ||

Eh, it "works" in the sense that you can win with it. You end up just being an under farmed ap champ with not much CC. You need some early form of AP (rings or augment or whatever) to actually matter in a lane. So you'd either get early power, or build like a regular support (the latter of which gimps you). His mana costs are also fairly prohibitive to fit as a support. | ||

I get 0-2 doran's rings and then rush Athene's, if you play like me and always push and wraiths or even push and roam, you still need that extra mana regen. 20% CDR is pretty ridiculous and I don't think I would ever get RoA over Athene's at this point because it's fairly hard to itemize for CDR if you go RoA. I'm not sure about my second item, but usually I just get a death cap. After that you will probably want to look for a Zhonyas, I like getting a Liandry's if I'm ahead, tho. I've never tried getting abyssal before, but it could probably work if you get it before the hat. Make sure to rush it after. Your question about her ultimate is situational. Sometimes, my team just needs an initiator, and if that's the case, you can E in, W and, just before they have time to CC you, R yourself. During this time they are disoriented and your team can easily clean house. This is fairly risky, though, as it relies on your teammate's brains working and also that you're at least even in terms of fighting potential, and it's not entirely necessary (though it certainly looks cool if you pull it off). If I have a Vayne on my team, for example, I will want to just wait for the enemy's engage and try to peel for her. Like always, I never actually think these things consciously, I just read the situation and adjust properly. Lissandra, like AP Ezreal, is best when being chased. Like you said, ulti range is really short, so you either want to start a fight using yourself or you want to wait for bad guys to come to you. If you're not the initiator, and say a Leona initiates for you, just walk to their threats (don't E in and R yourself in this scenario) and start casting your shit. (Or save your R for their assassin to save your Vayne) Your cooldowns are short (r>q>e>w, by the way) and you do a lot of damage, so you should never compromise yourself just to kill someone, and even if you lose the fight you still have the potential to turn it around if they decide to chase you. The choice between peeling and assassinating is up to you, because you do both really well. You just have to play it right and judge the situation correctly. If you really want, I can make a few videos from my stream where I've either played well or carried. | ||
