I wonder how NA will do, vs EU/KR/CN All-Stars teams which are actually full of people arguable worlds best in that lane (except yellowpete zzz).
dunno about laning but KR/CN teams have really good decision making, there is almost no hesitation, and the way the teams move around the map is superior to NA.
it's not just individual skill but team skill that makes the asian teams look so much better than NA.

I think this would help a bit, but realistically bot lane would just do wraiths instead then. And they can't make wraiths spawn late because if they do then junglers can't start red.
I am 100% convinced that the way to fix this problem is to add another double golem camp so they're on both sides, and just let both teams do it.
They could just like, make all camps spawn at 1:55. Jungler can start red just fine, it's not like doing a camp before it is somehow a requirement that unlocks the ability to kill the golem / lizard.
I think they should just add More jungle camps in general. Opening up blue/purple side options is just one bonus, it also could nudge the jungle in a direction that better for spectators and soloq.
I've said before that they should have non-buff camps spawn in the Blue/Red camps between the time when the buff is up. Have them spawn every minute like other camps, and after 5 minutes, have the next spawn be a buff again.
Having only 3 camps to work with most of the time is very restrictive.
While a fun idea, I find fights over blue to be one of the most exciting things in the game right now, and I don't know if Riot has the coding to make your dream come true.
If you do something like this it accomplishes: 1. Fix purple/red problems. 2. Actually punishes lane camping. 3. New camps are actually difficult for laners to take on a regular basis.
Uploaded with ImageShack.us Blue=Blue Red=Red Green=Golem Orange=Wraith (I actually would like to add more of these, but I t might cramp blue side a bit). Purple=Wolves
I am puzzled. What is the lane counterplay to AP Yi? I am trying to figure out if the one I faced as Orianna was good, or if I just badly misunderstand how I'm supposed to play against him.
Alpha strike poke does hella damage, and somewhat zoned me off minions since I couldn't consistently damage him back without burning through my mana quickly. He typically had minion advantage because of this. Whenever I would take him down to half health, he'd just hop under his tower and heal up. Felt like I should have been pushing out of lane or something (at least he 'bragsulted' me that he was shocked that he beat me in lane - which amounted to 20 more cs and a few more kills from roaming I guess?).

You clutter the map changing the geometry so much to add new camps. I don't know why you'd think it's easier to warp the terrain to accommodate new jungle camps than it is to just add intermediate spawns to the buff camps. The latter sounds way more feasible to me.

As Ori I'd just max E and shield yourself every time he alpha strikes you. Farm, then just outscale and shut him down in teamfights. Ezpz. If you grab MR Yellows/Blues, Flat AP Quints and whatever reds you want (Magic pen, maybe AD for last hitting?) your shield will shield for more damage than his Alpha strike all game since you prolly going to grab a chalice and such as well.
Then after shielding his Alpha strike, auto him at will till his alpha strike back up. I dunno, you have zero kill potential, but it a winnable lane for sure.

Dont need to. Can't out roam him anyway, and helps you abuse his early gankability.
But you Max E you out trade him hard, and you also can just straight up 1v1 him cuz his only nuke useless. Means you can follow him and mitigate his roaming once he starts feeling the need to (like level 6 usually). Most get hella frustrated that they can't push you out of lane and you have better mana sustain than them.

I'm not convinced maxing shield is a good idea. You really need Q max for the cdr and clearing ability. Maybe a couple of extra levels of E early can help, but honestly I'd just stock up on pots and rush a chalice. Maybe even invest in a flask if you really need the regen.

You don't win lane against Yi, least of all with ori

Yeah, you don't need to win lane as Ori to win game. Yi is less likely to be useful late game.
You just need someone who won't give him kills and can shove as hard as him. Pretty much any AP mid is more useful than a Yi with 0 kills, even if he has decent farm.
That said, he can still pentakill with lucky/well timed Alphas, so it's kinda moot.
