Those golems are a pretty big deal since most of the time when I jungle I ignore them for my first clear meaning they don't negatively impact junglers. But a level 2 trade against people not suspecting it is lane winning material. Lane swaps happen all the time now purple side in pro games. So it's not as big of a deal there. Purple does have counter options. ADC and support can do wolves. It works out. The purple jungler just has to do wraiths then red or wraiths then blue. Most junglers actually do not need blue to start the game. They can get by doing blue buff 4th, it just is risky because of steals. If smiteless is the way they want to play they can do wraiths, red, blue. Alternatively you can have mid and top do wraiths or golems on purple and then your top will have an advantage or your mid will while the enemy bot does. I think the meta stagnates when pros don't do something consistently that can be copied by lower level players. I've also heard of people who do enemy red first and then teleport top. I tried it in bot games and could not do it fast enough but it would work on nunu, though nunu with teleport has like -20% kill potential XD. Hate that yeti >.< | ||

I usually get there around the time the enemy top laner just gets level 2 (which is okay cause you're level 2 as well) but with red buff AND having gone back to base to buy, it's pretty much a free win in lane :D | ||

I wonder how NA will do, vs EU/KR/CN All-Stars teams which are actually full of people arguable worlds best in that lane (except yellowpete zzz). | ||

I've been promoting the spawn at 1:55 since before the first bastardization they did to golems. | ||

I've said before that they should have non-buff camps spawn in the Blue/Red camps between the time when the buff is up. Have them spawn every minute like other camps, and after 5 minutes, have the next spawn be a buff again. Having only 3 camps to work with most of the time is very restrictive. | ||
