The problem is finding a good time to back in a 2v1 lane to get it without missing more creeps than it's worth. If you back with like 1650 after getting a dive kill + tower, there's no reason to get the Avarice over a BF Sword. | ||

Only way I see it working is if you're going 21/0/9 or 19/0/11 for lifesteal mastery with LS quints. It's the setup used by people that want to rush IE but not put themselves super behind on finishing it because of Vamp. Of course it just ends up putting you 700g behind anyway that you have to make up... I guess if you started Glove2 it wouldn't be completely awful. Not like I care or anything...baka. | ||

The Bestfriend Sword is probably going to be a larger increase in DPS-- probably something like 50%+. However, it's also much more expensive. I recommend building an Avarice blade and stacking crit items then praying to the RNG gods. For example, let's say you have 90 atk. The BF sword is going to be a 50% increase in DPS for 1550 gold. Or you can buy an Avarice Blade for 800 and a cloak of agility for 730. That works out to be an effective 50% increase in DPS for TWENTY GOLD LESS. YOU SIR HAVE BEEN OUTMATHED. Plus you get the entire WTF HAXX thing from your opponent when you start hitting crits on him.
