It was pretty ridiculous Many people failed to realize how similar LOL and BW for PC Bangs in Korea. For BW you only need the PC Bangs to have copies of the game and countless of people can enjoy it with free accounts. While SC2 it reverses the formular, PC Bangs can install free copies of the game, but everybody has to pay $60 to play a game which is a big discouragement for alot of people. Riot Korea, had done an awesome jobs of bring back the BW phenomenal with a Free to play game, and free accounts. Also when LOL first came out in Korea, if you play at PC Bangs, you get all champions for free. Thats just brilliant in term of marketing from Riot Korea.

Nid is fine for solo q and 5s but Akali and Wukong have some bad lanes for solo q usage but they are big assets in arranged plays. Well, right now I dont have a team, so its only for soloQ, but in the end i want to find at least a semi serious team some time and then have at least a decent amount of champs that i need there already. also lol @ americans saying KTB is not that good. not sure whether irony or arrogance.

They really should do that for the other servers as well since it can't hurt them.

I would suggest Nidalee, and may be Zed/Kat(Assasin top lane) since these champ will really help if you want to join a team. These champs have difference playstyle compare to Singed/Elise/Rumble/Ren, ,that would varies your play style which help in general.

There are champions like Zed and Kha'zix which I think are must-learn champs but they excel far more in Mid than Top (imoimo)

Learning one of those will add depth into your team's play. That is if DarkForce wants to turn pro in LOL. If not, well just play anything he likes .On March 24 2013 21:15 adriftt wrote: for anyone that doesn't know WE is about to play iG in TPL. its the TSM vs CLG of china except these teams are actually top tier http://www.fengyunzhibo.com/group/20100-189rr94n.htm chinese stream How dare you compare WE vs iG to TSM vs CLG, rofl, Chinese teams are light years ahead of NA teams. Compare them to Gambit vs Fnatic would be more suitable.

But even if not, im a very competetive person, so I dont want to just fuck around. Zed seems to have such a weak lanephase, thats why I never really played him, but I guess i should start learning him =)

I don't recall what i played in both matches but i know one time i had kayle and the other one was also a strong lategame champ with either sustained damage or high amount of tankyness or both. so the players I faced where very good. probably better than me at laneing. both of them managed to abuse the constant threat of a very strong all-in, solid warding and risk management in lane (both palyers knew when they had to freeze, when to push and when they had a fighting advantage), both players outfarmed me because at my turret they where able to clear waves fast and start to poke me while i farmed back. When I got a slight fighting advantage they where able to sit at their turret and lasthit virtually anything with their very high base damage while being a huge threat with their ults so i couldnt just poke them constantly. so in both games I lost the lane so to speak because they where both ahead in CS. But the lane played out very passive and farm dependand because as soon as I squeezed in some dps here and there they weren't able to play that aggressive and had to just clear waves. Now the problem was that they couldnt really roam much despite being ahead. They could maybe gank here or there but they would not keep their CS advantage since top lane is so far away from anything. Both games ended with my team winning, because we focus fire that melee assassin in lategame teamfights who had substantial farm but didn't abuse his midgame peak very well besides that.

He even specified "except these teams are actually top tier" in his post. He was referring to their regional popularities, not their skill level. No need to get so offended.

I merely backed up neo's statement about them being stronger in midlane with 2 top lane experiences, where those two certainly had far less efficient possibilities to roam than they would have had mid. top lane is essentially a bad lane for assassins because its the most isolated lane and the hardest to make use of the midgame spike, while bruisers and pushers have a more solid (less situational and easyer to execute) lategame teamfight role. assassins have to establish a strong midgame where they keep certain targets weak with their ganks while getting more and more fed and making aggressive counterplays for their opponents very risky by there mere presence on all lanes and the jungle. top lane is just not that suited for this style of play. in fact its the least suited lane. even botlane and jungle are better for assassins in a general sense. when you see top lane assassins do very well then its often in ranked 5's where you have a coordinated setup and execution (like kha top + shen jungle for example which allows kha to be very usefulll in lategame fights)
