Was looking at the game popularity rankings in Korea (specifically after HotS dropped), and LoL had an insanely overwhelming lead over everything else. I understand that in PC Bangs, koreans get all the champs free correct?
Oh and despite HotS coming out and jumping up 10 spots, BW was still played more. That one made me grin.
It came out in December 2011 and became huge that month, if not, in January. It was pretty ridiculous

the part where every 3rd release they're going to additionally reduce the price of a different champion by 1 tier is kind of vague and arbitrary. it's not necessarily the oldest 4800, for example the last time they reduced udyr from 3150->1350.

Teemo for everyone! But nah I like them lowering prices, it's about bloody time we see an organized method like this.

BW was pretty much killed off and SC2 release hype had come and gone and it had failed to gain traction with lots of ill-will toward it, leaving a nice vacuum for some kind of game that could both be played conveniently at PC bangs and could be aired as an e-sport to fill programming voids for OGN.
Helped that Riot managed to deal with Korea quite well surrounding its release.

Helped that Riot managed to deal with Korea quite well surrounding its release. Several of their initial staff in the KR office were ex-Blizzard too as I reported at the time. Def helped them connect with the market. Also, during server troubles their staff also visited all the PC Bangs affected to personally apologise and stuff because PC Bang margins are so small. Built up a lot of good will.

Simply put, Riot did everything Blizzard didn't but needed to in order to crack Korea
|
Fuck, don't lower monkey. Everyone will find out how broken he is.
|
According to Smash the live team already knows.
|
If monkey is broken, how do I abuse the brokenness?
|
I'd imagine step one is not to lose your lane and step two is to press R in teamfights... he's always been hard to lane well with and made up for it with a frankly broken ult.

For my tops: Rumble, Shen, Singed, Garen, Gangplank.
Rumble: Safest pick. Doesn't have any bad match ups so it's a really good first pick. Shen: Overall can't really go wrong with a Shen pick. Singed: Meh, Singed gon' Singed. Garen: Dude's still super strong, good pick if you've already got a good amount of CC on team and if your silence will come in handy. Gangplank: I <3 GP.
Rumble still safest pick after nerf?
Hmm Garen..interesting

also abuse stealth cuz its a stupid mechanic

What's the rune page you guys run for AD nowadays?
I believe someone said Arp Reds/Armor Yellows/Flat MR Blues/Lifesteal Quints, but I may be wrong and can't find it anywhere -_-
|
Life Steal Quints are awesome, but I still run AD Marks with them.
|
If you run Lifesteal Quints go AD marks or you will lose every trade
