This was when we went though the lamenting of the lack of any sensible build that does anything other then build full tank or dancer dancer ie. thinking about it cait top wouldn't really be that bad. She would dominate most everyone 1v1 and she would be able to trap most of the approches so that she wouldn't get easily ganked. | ||

Either sort this ahead of time and sort it after, Dont tell a team less then 1 week before the event that there players are banned. | ||

1. Flat pen builds can now add LastWhisper/VoidStaff to remain efficient whereas previously they couldn't. 2. Black Cleaver now does some scaling pen. 3. You don't have to farm your Warmogs anymore, can buy it late for insta-tankiness, can buy it early for power spikes. 4. Resistances got nerfed hard. 5. GA doesn't cut it on squishy carries anymore, with the popularity of burst assassins the emphasis is on surviving a combo, and dealing damage, can't be disabled waiting to come back to life and their CD's to come back. Remember flat and scaling penetration are COMPLETE OPPOSITES. You want flat penetration vs squishy characters and scaling penetration vs characters with high resistances. It's just nowadays you're allowed to mix them. | ||

I can't imagine playing with my friends and having no-one making calls They're all way better player at their roles than I am at mine ( I usually supp ) because I haven't got much time to play and because my connexion is shitttt, but I watch a ton of streams and I slowly but surely get dat knowledge, and I've now been made the official shot caller whenever I play with my friends The amazing thing is, no matter how good they are compared to me, they understand the fact that they have to respect my autoritah, even though I make shit calls sometimes ( get aced at baron np it's fine ) they usually follow my calls and we usually win our matches and we rape our bot lane I'd say 75% of the time play with my friends ( one of them is 1.5k but doesn't play ADC at all, the other doesn't play ranked, god knows why, but if he did he would be 1.8k ADC and probably 2k on some of his junglers, he's so goooooood at hecarim, I've never seen a better hecarim player in any stream I've watched ) | ||

Aaaaand I totally agree with you :D That's why synergy and trust are essential in league, and that's why I only play with my friends, because in yolo q, I can get that perfect engage, like leone flash + e, ulti on 4, stun the AP carry and exhaust the ADC, and then I see our own ad recalling, our top and I get raped and the ap and adc get caught after the main "fight" even though I clearly spammed that damn ping and told everyone I'll engage on the mid as soon as the tower falls ! They can also pick without relying on player order that way (not tourney realm or anything so they don't have all champs on everyone). | ||

If it's anything like the IWD ban, the team and player have already been warned ahead of time privately that this could affect their ability to play in upcoming tournaments. | ||
