The thing is, S3 patch isn't even at the point of "abusing hidden stuff" yet. Even the obviously strong stuff like Locket isn't being used to it's fullest yet. Never mind the stuff that people actually have to figure out.

Lee is getting nerfed because he gets more free stats then any other champion. He has the best energy restoring mechanic in the game. He has more abilities then jayce or nid. He gets free stats, and an execute on his q. He gets a free shield, and free lifesteal and spellvamp. And he's the most mobile champion in the game. He's a retarded combination between nidalee, olaf, garen, and janna. I often say there is no such thing as a good lee sin player.

I don't think lee sin is overpowered, but that's because I know what does well against him in the jungle. And I abuse the fact that he gets less useful the longer the game goes.

Honestly, Riot's gotten extremely better at balancing. I didnt play this game in beta, but I've been playing league since like Urgot was released. If you compare the patch notes from then, where patch notes would easily be 1+ pages, to now where usually almost every champ would only get 1~2 minor changes if anything, Riot's really slowed down.

On the topic of the PBE nerfs, there's Amumu, Blitz, and Lee Sin. Blitz nerf is just a hit to his early trading power, making him easier to deal with in lane, which honestly is fine. Amumu nerf is imo unwarranted, but tbh his ulti has always been kind of an oddball. No other spell in the game prevents people from attacking that's not a full on stun. Even then, a gigantic aoe snare will still be plenty good for initiating, which is the entire point of Amumu. Now for Lee Sin. As a Lee Sin main, I have to say, Lee nerfs have been a long time coming. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't believe that Lee is at least a tier above other champs.

I agree with Yango though. Part of the problem is that other champs aren't as awesome as Lee. But it's easier to nerf one thing than to buff everything else, so I can see why Riot's choosing this path to balance.

dumb question but where can I see patchnotes over time for certain champions on
http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/League_of_Legends_Wiki
Maybe I'm just blind.

Regarding the Lee discussion, I'll just wait and see what nerfs Riot is actually to bring on the live patch. No point in discussing if people think he's extremely broken and I just think that he's wellrounded balanced champ.

About the Lee Sin nerfs, the W one seems directed at Lee Sin roflstomping toplane by sustaining through everything, as I guess with the overall greatly nerfed sustain from items, his innate sustain and durability are much stronger in proportion. E is pretty much for lvl 2 ganks and lvl 2 pressure on the sololane.

Also I don't really think those nerfs destroy him. The E nerf IMO is quite good, 30% AoE slow is really strong for his lvl 2 ganks. Maybe they could have handled the W differently but that's still one of the best skills in the game.

Not once you entirely remove the armor component. Then it's just a neat little repositioning tool/weak shield.

I think the major difference between Dota and LoL balancing is that Dota doesn't really balance around the pub game where as LoL has pseudo pubs(ranked queue) which it balances around. Also 5 bans vs 3 lets people remove the more obvious broken heroes(Prenerf lycan :>)

On the discussion of Lee Sin: I've been playing him a lot lately and he's really fun but I can't help get the feeling that he just has everything you want. High damage, high mobility, high tankiness, high sustain. His mechanics are really cool but I feel like he just has too many tools in his kit. A champ should never be able to do everything.

i dont mind lee nerfs if they wont actually destroy him, look at gragas few nerfs and he became tier4 nobody plays him and he has one of the lowest winrates in the game, why play champion who relays on hard snowballing to stay relevant through out the game when you can play something safe which outscales/outshines him in every way
i will fucking hate riot if they do the same to lee the most fun and enjoyable champion to play

What? It's an average shield, along with crazy lifesteal and spellvamp, shielding allies, and a blink. Compare it to like Riven's or Shen's, it's not even close. I really wonder why Lee Sin's shield is now bad when it can only do 4 things instead of 5, while other manaless characters' shields do 1 or 2 things.

Honestly, I feel like this is a nerf that makes a ton of sense though. They nerf the cooldown on it so that the cooldown MATTERS more. Before, you have a big all-in fight in lane or w/e, somebody wins, and blitz has mana barrier back up by the time the next big all-in fight happens. Lengthening the cooldown of something that ONLY applies to All-ins opens the counterplay window enough that it can actually be used.

It's the same thing with the Riven ulti nerf down to 110 sec - now the ult isn't ready for another allin immediately upon returning to lane.

IIRC He built a Zephyr and a Liandry's Torment. Don't remember the rest of the items off of the top of my head, though.

Q poke deals the double damage, and MPen and AP help all of her abilities (except MPen on her heal). Wouldn't be my first choice, but I could see it.

Also, I'm back from my break. Duo with meeee
