This change is going to be dumb. I only have about 50 wins (leveled up mostly through customs and AI due to poor internet at the time) and I'm playing people with 500+ all the time in normals. Oh well.

I think this should be a good change, and alleviate at least *some* of the elo hell issues.
Just last night I did a ranked game with a duo queue who admitted it was their first ranked game when I've played over 200.

Something I don't think people have mentioned is that the flash increased cd is also a buff to ganking in general.
I'm not sure whether that promotes passive or aggressive play though, cause top players will play more passively during the increased cd if it's down, but it does make camping a lane easier in solo queue.

Does anyone know if this change will only affect all matchmaking or just normal ques.

The red post says it's all matchmaking.

If you're winning games against people who have 450 more wins then you, congrats. You should have an easy time stomping noobs who also only have 50 wins.

That new style is the worst thing to happen to that subreddit in a long time. Yet somehow i'm not surprised they refuse to remove it, best mod team ever.

Why remove something that people will get used to eventually? lol

People have listed tons of reasons why they don't like it: - It's not as space efficient as the normal reddit design
- It's gaudy and has lots of visual noise for no reason
- The theme has nothing to do with LoL
- It makes it hard to distinguish between comments and replies
- There's no differentiation for the OP's posts
- The mods implemented it without beta testing it at all
Ask yourself, why even have the theme in the first place? Reddit is popular for a reason: the default style WORKS. It's efficient and readable. When people are making extensions to remove your theme, you know something is wrong.

because their updates usually provide better functionality and usability while maintaining aesthetic integrity. The lol subreddit update did the exact opposite.
