I play him jungle 90% of the time
I started off evolving Q first in jungle, but have completely switched to evolving E. Its much better for several reasons.
1. In a gank there is usually plenty of damage from your lane and you, the biggest issue is closing and getting your hits in and your slow. Evolved E actually results in more damage in my experience as you close instantly 100% of the time and can just be hitting them immediately.
2. Evolved E makes counter jungling extremely safe, you can jump so far over jungle walls that you can pull very dangerous or risky counterjungling without any actual danger.
3. You can dive towers like a fucking boss whenever you feel like it. People often get under tower with low health after a gank, with evolved E you can just jump in WautoQ jump out totally safely. I get tons of kills with this.
4. Similar to 2, you can engage fights when you run into somone in river or in the jungle that you aren't sure you are going to win. If you are coming out ontop or your team arrives, great, free kill. If thing start going badly you can just jump away. Basically you can do incredibly risky plays without actually risking anything. The jump is just SO DAMN FAR.
I never evolve W unless I am playing ARAM. Kha will never do enough AOE damagee to matter in a teamfight, E is far better for gap closing, execute is massively good in every situation. Unevolved W does the same damage in 90% of situations, and already has enough AOE to clear waves no problem.
I go EQR evolve for jungle, QER for top, as you can land Q's in lane much easier and more often.
Evolved R is how Khazix can teamfight, it improves your survivability MASSIVELY, you need it. Always come in either after 1st wave of initiates, or circle around to wierd anges and preult in to pick off or chunk a squishy. You can approach teams from really unsafe and bizarre angles as Kha, kill or get at least half of someones health, and just hop/ult out. Justmake sure you use all your ult charges.
My item core for jungle Kha are boots3->double dorans->bruta->Phage->situational damage/tanky utility (BT/GA/TRI/FM) depending on need.

-Maxing W seems to be fastest for clearing small camps
-Putting points into E is really strange, as it mostly reduces the cooldown on E, wheras with evolved E you get a free reset. On the other hand, I guess if you have a lot of points in E and cast it 3-4 times in a fight, you can add a lot of damage that way...

of course 1200 is the average elo sind its the starting elo for everyone and every time someone wins X elo, another one loses X elo.

i can't stress how important it is to IGNORE OTHER PEOPLE when jungling. That means even if you're playing ranked 5s with someone you know irl who's a really nice guy, and that person is begging you for a gank, if you don't think it's right to gank then don't do it, always make your own decisions as jungler without other people's influence.

One of the most annoying thing is when person asks for a gank and you see the opportunity to gank his/her lane and you start moving that way and tell him/her that you're on your way and the person starts fighting his enemy and dies while you're half-way to his lane. And then there's nothing you can do but go back to farm or gank another lane. And then the person starts complaining that you never gank his/her lane.

The simple fact that people dont even know how to act when they want a gank is sad, seems like you have to be the laner and the jungler at the same time sometimes.
(people getting caught and blaming jungler for it is hella fun though !)

I open W, it flat out does more damage (due to AOE) and leaves you with more health after wolves and blue.
Then R>Q>W>E with a point in E at 4. Evolve EQR.
Putting a point or two into E isn't that bad though if you need more mobility, mostly just to lower the CD. The damage on it isn't much lower than W, and obviously 4 seconds off the CD of you major gap closer and escape can easily be the difference between life or death.

The way he stays in lane even with like 300 hp and no mana to keep farming or be able to join from afar if a fight breaks out beats me. Is that a common playstyle at higher Elo, or just him liking to take risks?

When I'm top I often have junglers who don't wait for me to bait and just walk straight into the lane, even when my opponent is out of my reach at that moment.
