I'd second this. It's a kit entirely made of "fuck you I'm going to burn your entire team to ashes". Fun to play, kind of has some odd powerspikes. He has pretty good laning with his pushing/farming power and decent poke/harass, but his lack of mobility and dodge-able CC can be a real downside if you're getting camped.

I guess because it was soloQ my mates werent smart enough to focus him first to force his ult so I could attack him after it was off but yeah 6 item poppy most terrifying thing late game, even worse than vayne, kog or trist l0l There are very very few situations in LoL where I actually rage, and one of them is when teammates forget to bully Poppy early game or ouright feed Poppy. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT just make her life miserable during the whole early-mid game and force her to play super safe and passive so you can set her behind and then she stops being a threat and becomes a useless piece of meat all game long until veeery late, but you'll probably win before that since every battle will be 5 vs 4.5 because Poppy without items is bad even when ulting your squishies. But no, you had to let her free farm and rack up some kills and now she just assassins your carry in your face and your team gets demolished. Worst of it is when the Poppy says "haha Poppy is so strong" "I'm so good at this game" AAARGHH

On the other hand, there's nothing quite as funny as watching someone dive you under turret, then ulting them + pool and laughing at their bad decision making. Also DoT farming is easy as fuck. malz is not a primary damage source, he is a walking death combo with a nice wave clear and a bit of poke. That Q is just too damn slow to cast and narrow, makes half of his damage incredibly inconsistant and prone to getting juked. in a teamfight with malz you dont land your Q well and you go from primary damage source to a useless little DOT while your team gets blown up around you

Worst of it is when the Poppy says "haha Poppy is so strong" "I'm so good at this game" AAARGHH Well, if you send an AD heavy bruiser top there is absolutely nothing you can do against a good Poppy (Darius and Olaf are exeptions). Her innate tankiness and Q just makes her literally smack the living daylight out of any odd Panth/Riven/Nasus/Trynd/Garen/Xin/ect... even if you put a Poppy in a tough lane, she might still suvive with OK'ish farm and a few deaths and still be a midgame terror with only a finished TF. Putting her against a non-AD lane bully will make Poppy useless tho. BTW, there is nothing more fun than running as a TF-GB-IE-PD Poppy with GA and critting for 1000+ magic damage on almost every Q - then deciding to up that number to 1400 with ult...

Burst-wise there's a huge amount of champions to choose from, Annie, Veigar, Leblanc, Brand etc. As far as sustained damage, TF actually does a lot in the endgame. After he gets Dcap, DFG, lichbane and a voidstaff, dfg->gold->wildcards will chunk squishies for 80% of their health and assuming you have blue buff or a blue elixir, you can pull another gold in ~3 seconds and end them. Low cooldowns but good synergy with LB make up for the fact that TF only has two primary damage abilities (E proc is sorta unreliable in the lategame).

Kassadin and ryze are actually very difficult matchups for karthus, ryze especially with the wall change. Karthus, just by farming charges kassadin's E for him and kassadin has a very easy time farming against karthus. Q's that hit multiple targets do pretty pathetic damage and kassadin's passive ensures that he doesn't have too much trouble eating any damage he takes in exchange for being able to farm well early and karthus' terrible autoattack means that the traditional way of dealing with kassadin is gone. Ryze on the other hand can easily run up and Q+auto karthus and with his propensity for running MS quints, is really hard to hit with lay wastes before getting a point in wall. This is especially true when ryze gets his first blue buff and can full combo karthus with 38% cdr With the new wall, karthus just doesn't do enough dps to take down ryze before he himself dies, even between wall and exhaust, if ryze kites appropriately, all karthus is dealing damage with is his Qs which pale in comparison to ryze's combo damage.

Kassadin and Ahri are very hard MUs but they are both doable. His Q has long range and lets you farm vs almost anyone.
