You don't see teams say "Oh we're going lategame let's pick jax" because jax isn't actually good lategame if he can get kited or poked down while malphite say would rape that kind of team. I think gosu pepper does something either batshit crazy or something else batshit crazy, dem russians dude. Like either its full AP page or full defensive page with defensive runes. I think I heard that he runs flat hp quints as well from deman or something. And chalice is just insanely good on sona because if you're not the one buying aegis you have no other way of buying MR anyway and often aps hell even the other support can burst you in fights which means the mr and mana regen end up both bbeing awesome and it's much easier to afford the 890 gold in small parts than "full" items. | ||

If you're talking about a vacuum (like strictcly 1v1), there's probably not that many that scale with Irelia into lategame, but if you're talking about a 5v5, there are plenty of champs that scale harder than Irelia in lategame, if given sufficient teamcomp. Yorick/Kayle ulti's allow them to scale very strongly into lategame, Nunu's bloodboil buff makes him more relevant in lategame than Irelia, (not to mention his giant AOE slow, that prevents Irelia from shitting all over your ADC. Vlad's ulti lets him scale way harder than Irelia in late game. Get where I'm going with this? | ||

If you can't win a direct trade, for example when the opponent is far ahead in items then just hug the tower and learn to lasthit under tower while hoping for your Jungler to help. 2. If you could win the direct trade but can't because of one opposing skill then bait that skill, dodge it and then go all-out on their AD. In the case of Blitzcrank, if he misses a grab, just go for it. He's useless the next 10-15 seconds so you can just go for their AD and punish the hell out of him. If you then get grabbed by blitz you say "thanks for the gapcloser" and finish off their AD. Brush vision is vital, if you can see him then his grabs are a lot easier to dodge, so have your support ward the bushes whenever it is safe to. Or just get Taric, Alistar or Leona as support and laugh whenever they grab someone. | ||

Lots of funny moments can be had with such situations. I remember a team that thought it's a good idea to stand in the small bush near baron without oracles against Malphite/Zyra. They all died in 2 seconds. I stood in the bush next to it, facepalming. Yes, doublelift and capt jack can't flash out of malphite ults but most people aren't doublelift or capt jack. It just takes a second of being in the wrong position and suddenly hell breaks lose. He's also one of the best at making AD carrys weep with his sticking power and incredible armor, especially pre-LW. | ||
