Always felt Singed's strength was displacement, you catch someone and fling them out of position from their team. You can zone whole teams with Mega Adhesive, Insanity Potion and Rylais and still be able to peel effectively for your carry if needed while still providing good damage. It's not a fair comparison for Leona.

I mean I get Yango's explanation, I know those games where bot lane turns into a dunk tank and you get that 15 min aegis Leona has stupid midgame potential, Leona top just insures this outcome, and then a lategame jungle like Mundo takes over the farm, with that gameplan I can wrap my head around it. outside of bot lane picking Taric I still don't like it all that much, but I can admit there is visible value.

It doesn't have to be Leona, all the strategy requires is a capable top lane champion who can live without full farm and a jungler who is amazing when farmed/fed. It could just as easily be Hecarim, Nunu, or Malphite top with Jax, Riven, or Diana in the jungle.

Ugh,why are they buffing the range on Jarvans E?You can already miss the damn combo by doing it too fast if it's at max range of E.Seems so unnecessary.

You can just run leona bot with a support. It's pretty damn strong. Leona trucks with a triforce and she's not great solo lane because you can't abuse the passive and the targets aren't squishy enough to get bursted. You can get philo and ruby crystal before triforce if you're gettined harassed early.

Does that mean that E's range is significantly higher than Q's range now? If so, I feel like I will miss so many combos just by having my spear not reach my flag. Is this meant to be a buff?

Taric Leona is one of the funniest lanes in the game IMO.

If you look at the red tracker for J4 it's just a range indicator change and they're not actually buffing him.

+ Show Spoiler +not exactly. we have a change out on the pbe that makes j4 cast demacian standard at max range if he attempts to cast it outside of its max range. the idea is that when attempting to gank or escape, j4 players should notice a much smoother (reliable, quick, max range) skill combo. this would be especially true for players that use smart casting.
we assume that a large portion of j4 players rely on range indicators, so it was really important for this change that we make sure the range indicator was much more accurate than before (it was previously too short). the cast range itself was not changed, but the range indicator was and the 'area of effect' indicator will stay within the range indicator to accurately reflect the new cast behavior of the ability.

Hm. tl;dr is Syndra can't launch Teemo with Force of Will, her splash art is pretty ugly, Diana's getting an additionnal splash art (dunno if it replaces her original or Dark Valkyrie skin—damn, DV so good looking), and Jax+Pulsefire armory = Doctor Who.

She wasn't up last night, but they finally have her splash art/portrait/icons, so it shouldn't be long.

She is in the patch, but unplayable from what I've seen.
And when I read "I brought Jax into the armory and he refuses to select a real weapon! Who knew you could do so much damage with a Pulsefire can opener?" (from champions' sales by PF Ez), my first thought was "[doing weird stuff with a] pulsefire can opener? Sonic screwdriver!".

sadly, i don't know a single person irl who would get that reference. It's woefully unknown over here in the states.
