The only problem I see with it is that the enemy mid can just rush QSS and so you probably don't want to mess up your comp too much to get that gimmick to work. Or you could get a team that's heavy on physical damage so that rushing QSS ends up costing you a lot. | ||

Also, all of the parts of this give more immediate benefits then the parts of a RoA. And i usually only build Wits End when i am getting all the kills, because then i feel like i need to be doing a bit more damage. If they end up with my laners, i usually don't get one till later, and get either aegis or a fast shurelyas. I am still not convinced what to think of HoG after the nerf, but Randuins is still pretty much something you want anyways. | ||

I know Chu8 used to run lane tanky AP Naut (he did RoA->Abyssal iirc); some other high elo people also experimented with double dring -> abyssal Naut, kinda like how you can build Malphite. If you're going to go RoA you should be laning Nautilus. You simply won't be getting enough farm fast enough in the jungle for RoA/most AP items to be worth it. | ||

Sounds like an error in your positioning, or an error of the team not to burst him down if he was balls deep on you. Either your in a position where he doesn't have to go deep on you to kill you, or he is going deep and your team aren't peeling or bursting for you. Obv depends on more factors, like if the panth was fed, etc. | ||

I could sort of see an AS build working out, but then you're probably losing a lot of potential damage due to no IE. What do I level on him? He works well with poke style play. In lane your autos do a lot of damage, autoattack them a few times then hit them with a spell. IMO take all armor pen red and quints instead of what most others use. Lane with someone like taric or leona and you have set your lane up to win fights to the death. | ||

Just tried him out after a long hiatus, did surprisingly well top vs Jax. Trades really well, and once you get triforce he bursts pretty hard too. Are there any specific build/skill tips for him? I just went for standard ad caster/bruiser (triforce), wit's end seemed good too. | ||
