Core: Boots WotA Rylai's Dcap and we will even pretend to be fair that augment does not take a slot. now we have 2 slots to play with, one of which I think you must commit to either void staff or abyssal depending on the other teams builds. so here is your choice: Zhoyna's, Situational defensive item, new chalice, DFG it isn't unusable, but it's a 6th item at best and I just don't understand the amount of excitement surrounding it edit: regarding Veigar my argument is simply if you don't already buy chalice it's not that amazing, also Veigar is dfg reliant, so a lot of the upgrade will go to waste read:you are buying it for the passive. | ||

That said, I haven't really played with Chalice on Swain. I'll try something like Catalyst->Chalice->ROA. Be a complete dick in lane. Usually don't need ROA straight away, and the Chalice is only 800 gold out. | ||

Magic resist runes got nerfed recently...which gave a nerf to galio... Nerf on his spells... But now that the first item Galio MUST have can be transformed in a strong ap item, I believe Galio will stop being so useless late game since he will be able to get fed like everyother champion now...which is very good! | ||

Well, it's absurd to ever consider Viktor while pretending his augment doesnt take an item slot. And I have no intentions to build the new chalice item on him because of this. It just won't fit in any convenient manner. I pretty much agree. If you look at viktor's augment, it is an extremely efficient mid game item. 1000g for 45 AP (+3/lvl) and the death improvement is ridiculous. If they could somehow incorporate that into other items, they could get a start on actually good mid game items. | ||
